An advocate for education, Dr. Santiago gives regular presentations on the topics of colon and rectal cancers, including education reaching the Spanish-speaking population. Dr. Santiago is a proud Veteran, having served as a Major in the United States Army.

In addition to bariatric surgery, Dr. Chavda treats patients who need various procedures, including acid reflux, hiatal hernia, gallbladder, spleen, stomach, and hernia surgeries.Dr. Chavda earned his medical degree from the B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. He then completed his general surgery residency at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania and a bariatric fellowship at the University of Florida in Jacksonville.
