Biography: Dr. Maury L. Fisher has been in private practice serving Polk County, Florida since 1989. Dr. Fisher is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who specializes in Total Joint Replacement using computer navigation, advanced arthroscopic Surgery of the knee and shoulder, Fracture care, Carpal Tunnel Surgery, Trigger Finger Surgery, Tennis Elbow Surgery, and Joint Injection Therapy.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Cook joined our Center in August 2006. She completed fellowship in adult reconstruction and sports medicine at Insall Scott Kelly Institute in New York City. Dr. Cook specializes in minimally invasive surgery. She is also a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America. Dr. Cook's areas of expertise includes knee and hip replacements, arthrocospy of the knee and shoulder, ligament reconstruction, cartilage restoration, and fracture management.

Care Philosophy: Controlling pain and getting people back to the activities they enjoy is my primary focus. I employ the most up-to-date, cutting-edge protocols in total joint replacement to help minimize pain after surgery and recover quickly and safely. I have a discussion with each patient about whether surgery is right for them, and if so utilize a personalized medication and rehabilitation plan to minimize pre-operative anxiety and allow the patient to focus on their recovery.
