Dr. Ryan Ouillette, MD

Took me awhile to post this review, didn’t want to respond in anger! Was referred to this physician after experiencing pain in my left hip while recovering from reconstructive surgery on my right foot. Never experienced pain or any issues until my 7 month recovery from my foot surgery. While using a knee scooter and over use of my left side to compensate due to non weight bearing on my right I felt a pull. This physician focused on injections rather then diagnosing the root of the problem! Just because of someone’s age, a diagnosis of arthritis shouldn’t be the first label! My concerns were ignored. Requested an MRI which was ignored. Did one x-ray and tried to convince me that it was arthritis instead of an injury! After multiple hip injections, and 2 invasive injection through the groin to the front of the hip, still no relief! After many request for a MRI, which was denied because he insisted it was arthritis! I knew better!!!!! I went to another doctor for a second opinion and he listened!!!!!! First thing he ordered was an MRI, which showed that it wasn’t arthritis, I Had a hip labral tear! What kind of doctor ignores the concerns and knowledge the patient has of her/his body, Presenting with an acute injury, and not be willing to rule out everything before labeling it arthritis! Shame on you! Beware of this Doctor!!!! Money over patients is his practice!!!!!!

I experienced an accident at my home that injured my right leg’s quadriceps muscle tendon. I used a snowblower, slipped on ice, and fell. I was rushed to the Saint Mary’s Hospital via an ambulance. Dr. Ouillette was contacted by the ER staff for an evaluation of my X-ray images. Dr. Ouillette provided an expedited appointment for me to see him in person. During our meeting, Dr. Ouillette was very professional and answered every question with truthfulness and empathy. Dr. Ouillette thoroughly examined and compared both of my legs. Dr. Ouillette proactively scheduled time in his schedule for my surgery, which will occur within only a few days after my injury. Dr. Ouillette described his plan for my post-surgery actions so that I can look forward to achieving a complete recovery within a reasonable time period that will match the medical industry standards for this specific injury. Thank you very much Dr. Ouillette for your extra effort to provide excellent expedited patient care for me!

Dr. Ouillette's manner, experience, and professionalism, made it clear to me, he was the one that would perform my surgery. (and this was after extensive reviews of other surgeons). Extremely happy with outcome.

My experience with Dr.Ouillette is always good. He listens to all my concerns and always has an answer for me. Overall he's a great doctor and i'm glad i went with him for my shoulder surgery.

had a fall up north shattered my tibia and fibula...The surgery was done that same night after getting to Beaumont from Bad AX. Dr Ouillette has great personaity and really cares about his patients and shows it, as well as all the staff atDearborn office. Big thank you to everyone!!!!!

The experiance that i have had with Mr. Ouillette is amazing. He tries to connect with you on a persoanl level and cares about have you have to say. Also great at explaining what has happen and what is going on. i had to switch doctors because the old one i had was not as engaging as Mr. Ouillette, But overall he is one of the best doctors i have met.
