Dr. Jon Brown graduated from medical school in 2005 and subsequently completed a General Surgery residency as well as a Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care. He began practicing General Surgery in Truth or Consequences, NM where he developed and ran a Trauma and Surgery program for several years in rural New Mexico. After moving to Florida, Dr Brown practiced at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital? specifically in the arena of Trauma, Acute Care Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care before coming to Port St. Lucie permanently. Dr. Brown is also an avid pilot with Instrument ratings and has been an experimental aircraft pilot and test pilot for several years. Along with building experimental aircraft, he has built three Factory Five Racing cars which have been racetrack proven.Beyond practicing surgery in the US, Dr Brown is actively involved with Health Talents International to provide surgical services on a bi-yearly basis to Guatemala. He has also traveled extensively to western Africa and the Caribbean, and has been involved in writing guide books for several countries in West Africa.
