Dr. Murphy is a courteous, professional surgeon. He has a wonderful demeanor with his patients. He is conservative and explains everything thoroughly. Unlike many surgeons, he is not eager to rush surgery. He makes sure you understand everything and is comfortable with all outcomes. We trust him as our doctor and surgeon. We plan on keeping him!

Scheduled me for a hernia surgery and had me waiting over five hours after my 9 AM appointment. I had to wait 5 hours on the day of my surgery in a dirty, crowded waiting room. No contact from the doctor. if you need surgery go somewhere else.

No follow up! Typical surgeon- cut & run!

Dr. Murphy is very professional and has a sincere, caring attitude toward his patients and their illnesses. I would Not hesitate for him to be my surgeon again.

Dr. Murphy has performed two surgeries on me in the last 17 years and his expertise and professional manner were perfect for me. I particularly enjoy how he will describe the complete procedure and how the recovery will be. As a profession pilot I want to know everything that I will be facing before the procedure. Dr Murphy and his staff are outstanding in every way.

I brought my 97 year old mother who was suffering from a prolapsed anus. If it didn't get better, he recommended I drive her down to West Fort Lauderdale , two and one half hours one way for a minor outpatient surgery that could be done locally. It seemed the staff was more interested in bleeding a patient dry than giving any type of quality health care.

I had a really wonderful experience with Dr. Murphy. I was in the ER on Saturday morning and he was there within 30 minutes of being admitted. He knew just what was wrong and began my treatment of antibiotic and CT Scan. Such a professional. Are community is so fortunate to have a hospital like Cleveland Clinic Vero Beach and a Dr. like Dr. Murphy.

Dr. Murphy is the best, very caring and understanding. It's been almost a year with my procedure done and I feel great. His staff is awesome too. I was in so much pain and I can say that I am happy that I found Dr. Murphy.

Dr. Murphy just performed colonresection surgery on me. I cannot say enough about him from before surgery til after. He was very kind and caring and listened to my fears and he answered my questions. He explained everything and put my fears at rest . His bedside manner is remarkable. I was little hestitant, do to a past surgery with another doctor that did not go well. This being a major surgery I could not have asked for a better more compensating doctor. I would recommend Dr Murphy to all.

I've had many surgeries in the last 16 years. Dr. Murphy is the one doctor that stands out. He is a caring surgeon who listens to his patients concern. He doesn't rush you when you see him at his office. He wants to make sure all your questions are answered. He takes time to explain the surgical procedure that will be done. I would recommend him to all of my family and friends. His personality, disposition and patient care is number one.

Dr. Murphy has performed three major surgeries for me over the last nine years. All have been successful without any post-op complications. He is warm, caring, exudes self confidence, has a great bedside manner, explains in detail what to expect and how to prepare for the best recovery possible. He is the best of the best.
