Biography: Dr. Erika Van Doorn is a board certified General and Critical Care Surgeon. She?comes to us from Texas after living there for 14 years.??She completed her general surgery residency and Surgical Critical care fellowship in Houston at Baylor College of Medicine. After her training, she worked at several facilities in Texas with Envision but her primary site of work was at Medical city Plano, in Plano Texas (Level 1 trauma center). ?In 2019 she moved to Florida where has worked at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. Since 2013, she has been busy working in level 1 and level 2 trauma centers as trauma, acute care and surgical critical care surgeon.??She also worked closely with the trauma director and coordinators to help with the level 1 designation at Medical City Plano.?In September of 2020 she took the role of trauma Medical Director at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital where she was able to stabilize the program and successfully passed American College of Medicine level 2 consultative visit.

Biography: Dr. Drew Rideout is a Pediatric General Surgeon with All Children's Specialty Physicians. He received his undergraduate degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. Dr. Drew Rideout completed his residency at the University of South Florida and his fellowship at Emory University.

Biography: Brett Armstrong, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon. Dr. Armstrong treats patients 18 and older and is bilingual in English and Spanish. He performs robot-assisted and minimally invasive surgeries such as appendectomies, hernia repair, cyst removal, gall bladder removal and more. Dr. Armstrong earned his undergraduate degree at Florida State University before attending medical school at FSU College of Medicine. He went on to complete a residency in general surgery at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. Dr. Armstrong previously served as Director of Robotics and Chief of Surgery at St. Josephs Hospital-North in Tampa. Dr. Armstrong takes a thorough and precise approach to his consultations to ensure that he is consistently giving accurate diagnoses.
