Biography: Dr. John C. Pearce is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, serving residents from Austin, Texas at the Austin Bone and Joint Clinic. Dr. Pearce's provides services including general orthopedics, sports medicine, as well as shoulder, elbow, hand, and lower extremity reconstruction. Dr. Pearce completed his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He went on to serve his residency in orthopedic surgery at Bexar County Hospital. Dr. Pearce then completed a fellowship in lower extremity reconstruction and sports medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Pearce is recognized by Austin Monthly Magazine as one of Austin's Best Doctors in 2002, 2004, 2007, and 2009. He was also recognized as a Texas Monthly Super Doctor between 2005 and 2009. Biography: Dr Saldanha is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon with additional fellowship training in Adult Joint Reconstruction and Orthopedic Trauma. He specializes in Hip Replacement, Knee Replacement, Hip and Knee Revisions, Fracture Care and Trauma Injuries. Following completion of his orthopedics training, Dr Saldanha volunteered for deployment in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. While serving he also founded the first orthopedic humanitarian clinic treating women and children displaced by the war. After returning to the United States Dr Saldanha served as an Orthopedic Traumatologist, training active Duty Airmen in war trauma techniques and assisted in the development of the Sustained Medical Airman Readiness Training program at the 99th Surgical Operations Squadron in Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada.From 2013-2016 Dr Saldanha was an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery with the University of Nevada School of Medicine and completed further education in complex Adult Reconstruction under world renowned surgeon Anthony Hedley.Dr Saldanha is actively involved in orthopedic research. He is an associate editor for the International Journal of Advanced Joint Reconstruction and has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals. Dr Saldanha is expected to complete his master's in business administration in 2019. Dr Saldanha has received several awards including Meritorious Service Medal, Airforce Commendation Medal, induction into the American Orthopedic Association -Emerging Leader Program, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

Biography: Dr. Greg Westmoreland is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship trained Sports Medicine specialist in South and Northwest Austin. He specializes in treating shoulders and knees in addition to general orthopedics. Dr. Westmoreland grew up in the Houston area and graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Baylor University with a degree in Biology. Dr. Westmoreland attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, graduating first in his class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Honor Society, an honor recognizing those who have graduated in the top 10% of their medical school class. Dr. Westmoreland completed his orthopedic residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2000. Training at Grady Memorial Hospital, a level one trauma center, he gained vast experience in all types of orthopedic fractures and learned valuable lessons in the conservative treatment of orthopedic problems. In 2001 Dr. Westmoreland completed a Sports Medicine fellowship at the Knoxville Orthopedic Clinic where he served as one of the team physicians for the University of Tennessee. His fellowship training focused on arthroscopic treatment of shoulder and knee problems, as well as shoulder and knee replacement for arthritic conditions. Dr. Westmoreland always considers a conservative approach to treatment first. His goal is to return the patient back to the level of activity they desire. If surgery is necessary, Dr. Westmoreland recognizes the trust a patient must place in him , and he takes great care in walking each patient through the entire process, from pre-operative evaluation through post-operative recovery.

Biography: Dr. Jacinto Obregon firmly believes that listening and engaging with patients is the first step to receiving better results for them. He considers it a truth that preventive medicine and lifestyle medicine are the foundation for a healthy life.Dr. Obregon has been a family medicine physician since 2008. He is originally from Nicaragua where he started his preparation as a physician. After completing medical school, Dr. Obregon moved to the United States and trained at Texas Tech University in El Paso where he had the experience of treating various diseases from Latin America and the United States. He credits the excellent training he experienced there for making me a solid clinician.In El Paso Dr. Obregon worked in a private practice providing both urgent care and outpatient care. In 2017, he and his family moved to Central Texas. Here he has been practicing rural medicine for almost seven years. The community of Gatesville is a chapter of his professional career that is close to his heart.In his free time, Dr. Obregon explores the outdoors and enjoys going hiking with his family. He also practices CrossFit, a very humbling discipline that he feels constantly makes him better as an athlete and as a person.Dr. Obregon has the genuine call to serve others.
