He gave detailed info on my soon to be knee replacement surgery.

Dr. McArthur was able to ascertain that the extreme pain I have in my knee is actually “referred” pain frommy hip. He administered a steroid injection in my hip, which dramatically reduced my knee pain in a couple of days. His PA Chris is also very professional and capable.

Dr McArthur gave me a new hip that changed the pain level in my life.

My visit with Dr. McArthur and his team was at Lakeway office. All of staff were attentive and caring. I was happy to be able to get steroid injections on same day after discussing my hip pain concerns. The PA, Chris gave the injections with updates throughout the procedure on each hip; and, there was very minimal discomfort.

Dr. McArthur has provided excellent care, while walking my orthopedic journey with me and my family. I highly recommend Dr. McArthur if considering orthopedic revision care.

In my initial appointment we efficiently covered my relevant medical history and reviewed my knee joint pain points. They also took very thorough x-rays of that joint. He assured me I was not in need of surgery at this juncture and recommended a shot to alleviate my current pain. He and his PA, Chris, answered all our questions. It was a great appointment.

Caring and professional

I was told to show up 25 minutes early for a 3:15 appointment on July 3rd. I was there almost an hour before being called back. The nurse or PA came in and asked a lot of questions, which I had filled out online. After a while they took a couple of xrays, then back to exam room for waiting. The nurse came in and said that Dr. McArthur was not going to see me since I had already had a spine procedure done elsewhere. The doctor said I needed to see a surgeon instead. That was fine except that until I was checking out at the desk and complained that I had been there for 2 hours and that the doctor didn't even come into the exam room. Dr. McArthur then walked up to me at the desk. Asked a couple of questions then made some comments regarding my earlier procedure. He then wrote up in my portal that we had a discussion regarding that procedure etc. I wasn't charged for his 2 minutes but this was in my opinion unprofessional.

Very intelligent man. He reviewed my case and answered my questions and also left options and decision making up to me, which I liked.
