Dr. Hall listens and explains well
I had a back issue and we had a lengthy discussion about possible treatments. Dr. Hall was thorough in his exam and explanations of the next step and why.

Internist and my Primary Care Provider
Dr. Hall has seen me through regular physical exams as well as a few serious issues including lower leg injuries with cellulitis and embolism, and a heart attack scare. In every situation, his thorough diagnoses and successful treatments have enabled me to remain very healthy into my ‘80’s. His reassuring, compassionate demeanor has supported my confidence in good health outcomes to follow each episode of illness and injury I routinely recommend him to my friends who need an internist, primary care provider.

I would not recommend this physician to anyone.
What stood out to me was the lack of respect and the arrogance. This was my 3rd or 4th visit with him and it was also my last. One example is when examining my feet for neuropathy, he asked if I could feel the object he was pressing against my foot. I replied that I could barely feel it and his response was “this is a yes or no question so which is it? yes or no”. When I would ask him a question, his response would be “I will get to that later” or “don’t rush me”. I didn’t get the feeling that he really wanted to listen to me. I am neither upset nor angry about today’s visit, I just feel that it would be better for me to find a different doctor who has a more friendly personality and better “bedside manner”.

Rudeness
I went in to his office for a Upper respiratory issue. Dr Hall did his exam but never explained any findings. I have a pulmonary Dr who had diagnosed me with asama but he Dr Hall kept saying I had COPD. I didn't feel like arguing with him. He prescribed a medication. I asked him for something for cough. He said he would prescribe cough pearls. I told him that even with my insurance they were very expensive and I couldn't pay for them. He just went on typing and said it wasn't his problem. Never said he would prescribed something else. I had to ask him to. My entire appointment was a terrible experience. I went in feeling really bad having trouble breathing and left there feeling worse and insulted. I will never go back to him again. He should never talk to any of his patients that way

“unavailable” not a good thing
He was “unavailable” when I needed him. Everyone needs time off and I understand that, but no one was covering for him. First time I’ve ever experienced that with a doctor. I almost ended up in the hospital before I just went to another doctor. Dr. Hall is no longer my doctor since he was unavailable when I needed him most.

I had a flair up of my asthma and had nor had one for 10-15 years. I live in Georgetown and decided to go to my pulmonary MD office since it was close. I was not seen by my pulmonary MD but one of his associates. I had a deep productive cough/wheezing and in 2 days we were to fly to Portland Oregon for a family reunion. This MD said I just needed some prednisone and gave me a script for 40 mg for 5 days. I took this but was not better by the next day/deep cough with greenish colored sputum so because we were to fly the next day I called Dr. Hall's office in Round Rock and they worked me in. He listened to my chest/wheezing/checked 02 level (93) ordered and Albuterol treatment and then rechecked my 02 sat up to 97. He made certain I had enough Albuterol inhalers to go on this trip and also corrected the dose of Prednisone so that I could taper it down as it should be. He ordered an antibiotic. I received excellent care from Dr. Hall and his staff...as I have for many years.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hall since the early 2000. He is very thorough in collecting all your info and necessary tests for conditions. He is a caring doctor and listens to your feedback. His staff have always been very personable and make you feel special. I would highly recommend Dr. Hall and his associates for a good permanent internal medicine doctor.
