Biography: Dr. Shibayama graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine with honors and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He attended Northwestern University for his undergraduate training, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. His orthopedic residency training was completed in Miami, Florida, at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. In 2006, he completed a one-year fellowship in Spine Surgery at the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Shibayama is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Shibayama's practice encompasses surgery of the spine. His special interests include minimally invasive spine surgery, robotic spine surgery, and cervical (neck) spinal disorders. He currently treats patients at TOA's Smyrna location. Dr. Shibayama enjoys spending time with his family, weightlifting, biking, swimming, disciplining and mentoring others, and traveling. He is a New Vision Baptist Church member, serving as a deacon.

Biography: Dr. Ginger Holt is a highly skilled and board-certified Orthopedic Oncologist with extensive experience in both adult and pediatric orthopedic surgical oncology. Practicing at TriStar Orthopedic Oncology in Nashville, TN, Dr. Holt is renowned for her expertise in treating bone and soft tissue tumors, bone cancer, and complex orthopedic conditions. She earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama-Birmingham, followed by an Orthopedic Surgery residency at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Holt then pursued specialized training through a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Oncology at the University of Toronto and an additional fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at Colorado Joint Replacement. Her diverse educational background and clinical experience make her a trusted expert in the field of orthopedic oncology.At TriStar Orthopedic Oncology, Dr. Holt offers advanced surgical treatments, including bone and muscle surgery, joint injections, hip and knee surgeries, and specialized care for conditions such osteoarthritis and sarcoma. Biography: Matthew O. Barrett, M.D. graduated from Florida College in 1992 and the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 2002. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics in 2006, becoming the chief resident physician through 2007. He also completed a fellowship in joint replacement at The Anderson Clinic in Alexandria, Virginia/Washington, D.C.Dr. Barrett specializes in primary and revision joint replacement of the hip and knee. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society since 2002, a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He has served as a reviewer for the Journal of Arthroplasty and has authored 11 published articles in major orthopedic journals and was also the primary author of two textbook chapters focused on orthopedics and joint replacement. He lives in Murfreesboro, TN with his wife and 3 sons.
