Biography: Emily Prouse M.D., a native of North Carolina, graduated from Duke University in 2003 with a degree in Environmental Studies. She went on to receive a Masters in Environmental Management from Duke, focusing her research on children's environmental health. Dr. Prouse realized her true passion was medicine and that she enjoyed working directly with people to effect change on a more personal level. She attended the University of North Carolina School of Medicine where she graduated with honors in 2011. At that time she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. She went on to compete her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington in Seattle, receiving recognition for her teaching abilities. Dr. Prouse considers it an incredible privilege to be a physician. She believes that women's health is the foundation of strong, healthy families and is dedicated to providing exceptional, individualized care to all women. She prides herself in the ability to form lasting, collaborative relationships with patients and assist them in making informed, healthy decisions about their care. Outside of work, Dr. Prouse enjoys spending time with her husband, Andrew, and three children. She is proud to call Colorado home and finds joy in exploring new wilderness areas, ski slopes, and biking trails. Biography: Dr. Sarah Takimoto is a Colorado native. She attended the University of Southern California for her undergraduate degree and received her medical degree from Creighton University. She completed her OB/GYN residency at St. Joseph's Hospital, and joined Midtown OB/GYN in 2018. Dr. Takimoto's interests in OB/GYN include maternal safety and postpartum care, family planning, minimally invasive surgery, and teaching residents. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, cooking and discovering new restaurants. She is married with a young son and is bilingual in Spanish.

Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits. Dr. Sarah Payne is from Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Art History. After college, she spent two years teaching English in Prague, Czech Republic, where she met her husband. Upon moving back to the United States, she attended the University of South Alabama for medical school where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society and graduated in the top 10 percent of her class. Dr. Payne completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Payne enjoys providing compassionate, holistic, high-quality care to women of all ages from teens through menopause. She treats a wide variety of conditions including abnormal bleeding, ovarian cysts, fibroids, infertility, endometriosis, testing for hereditary cancers (e.g., breast, ovarian, endometrial, colon), treatment for menopausal symptoms with bio-identical hormones, and more. She loves delivering babies and taking care of high-risk and normal pregnancies. She specializes in minimally invasive surgery including robotic surgery that allows women to recover quicker and get back to their active lives. Dr. Payne is a warm, compassionate physician, who brings her welcoming charm to our practice. Biography: Dr. Romy Mason moved to Denver in 1998 and has never looked back. Drawn to Colorado for obvious reasons, she originally came to Denver to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Joseph Hospital and has been delivering babies and caring for patients in the Denver community ever since. She is excited to bring her 20+ years of experience to the amazing team at Premier Integrated OB/GYN and to become a part of the Rose family.Originally from Los Angeles and eventually transplanting to Baltimore, Maryland in grade school, Dr. Mason has always considered herself bicoastal. She attended the University of California, San Diego for her undergraduate degree in Psychology and received her medical degree from Albany Medical College in upstate, New York where she was awarded the Harold C. Wiggers Award for the Senior Student Who Best Exemplifies the Qualities of an Outstanding Physician. In her third year of medical school, Dr. Mason spent 2 months working and travelling in Bolivia and Peru where she was able to improve her Spanish. Today she enjoys speaking Spanish with her patients and keeping up her skills.Dr. Mason can't imagine herself in any other field of medicine than women's healthcare. She has had the honor and joy of supporting her patients through some of the most challenging and exhilarating times of their lives. While she is secretly (and not so secretly) obsessed with babies and obstetrics, she equally enjoys helping women at every stage and age to achieve excellent health and wellness and to understand their bodies and their choices. She views healthcare as a partnership between patient and physician and her primary role as a teacher.When she is not doctoring, Dr. Mason enjoys spending time with her husband and trying to keep up with her two teenage sons. Whether it's skiing, camping, hiking, fishing, travelling or chowing down at a favorite eatery as long as she's with her guys, she's in her happy place.
