HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
Dr. Roper-Cooper misdiagnosed me & told me I needed surgery when I did not. She then not only perforated my uterus in surgery, but also made a subserosal tear requiring cauterization and lied about it as well as other aspects of the surgery. When I requested the OR report from her office, they redacted the surgical notes and I had to go through other avenues at the hospital to obtain the medical records which all patients are legally entitled to. I urge anyone seeing Dr. Roper-Cooper to seek a second opinion and do not let her operate on you.

I visited Dr. Dana Roper Cooper Office on 1/14/2019. The front desk receptionist was very rude but my appt with Dr. Dana Roper Cooper went smoothly. My visit was for fibroid removal. After my original appt a surgery date was set for 2/26/2019. Dr Roper Cooper waited until my pre op appt to inform that she would be cutting me vertical instead of transverse, also I would need a blood transfusion. Her attitude is condescending. I was upset she waited so close to the surgery to inform me.

Booked Dr. Roper-Cooper on recommendation of friend who had complicated IUD removal w/ her. Scheduled well-woman visit and complicated IUD removal. Receptionist said Dr. Cooper *refused* to answer questions related to IUD removal (how long to normal fertility; what to expect; surgical steps if in-office removal not possible) because I hadn't booked a separate "consult." It was surreal. Husband and I were stunned and left immediately. Won't see a dr. who won't discuss a procedure I'm having!
