Biography: Allen Blosser, MD, is an expert gastroenterologist at Gastrointestinal Medicine Associates, serving adults in and around Fairfax and Reston, Virginia. With over 30 years in the field, Dr. Blosser is board-certified and has demonstrable experience working with colonoscopies and stomach disorder treatments. Dr. Blosser received his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, in 1988. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, in 1991, where he followed up with his gastroenterology fellowship through 1993. Dr. Blosser is also a long-standing clinical assistant professor of medicine at Georgetown University. Dr. Blosser is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and was named a Washingtonian Top Doctor numerous times between 1994 and 2018.
