Brilliant Doctor
I can’t say anything but this is the most caring and supportive medical care I’ve received. I’ve been severely ill and Dr. Hong and his staff persist in working to find answers.

Treats You As an individual, not a set of numbers
Dr Hong takes the time to find out who you are as a person and then apply it to his excellent medical care. He is extremely intelligent , explains conditions really well and is a caring well informed physician. We feel fortunate to have him as our primary care physician.

Dr. Hong was my parent's "concierge" doctor for well over a decade and he failed both of them. Starting first with my dad...he let his PSA numbers climb and climb until finally my dad said "enough is enough, I want a scan" and sure enough that scan showed us that he had Stage 4 prostate cancer. I find it beyond negligent that Dr. Hong allowed his numbers to increase without any sort of scan. Later the very next year, my dad came down with an awful cough that wouldn't go away. A good doctor would have said "hmm, this man has stage 4 prostate cancer, I should scan his lungs", but nope Dr. Hong again did nothing and we later learned that my dad had a huge mass that turned out to be a rare liposarcoma. Next was my mom, who after years and years under Dr. Hong's "care" was never suggested to have a mammogram. Well, needless to say we just learned my mom has stage 3/4 breast cancer. It is a shame this guy is still in practice. He is negligent and complacent.

Dr. Hong has effectively treated my seemingly endless chronic conditions. He is an extremely caring and knowledgeable doctor. When my old doctor retired I was heartbroken, feeling like I'd never like another doctor as much. Dr. Hong's near encyclopedic knowledge and other amazing characteristics have won me over, heart and body. I highly recommend him.

I went to the hospital for spinal surgery and I was "assigned" Dr. Hong. He placed me on an anti-clot medication but didn't communicate this to me or my Neurosurgeon so that after discharge I could be followed up with the right specialtist. I have now suffered irreversible damage in my legs.

When I was hospitalized on a Sunday last winter, I was sick and scared. Since it was a weekend, I didn't expect to see Dr. Hong. To my surprise, he appeared at the door to my hospital room only about two hours after I was admitted. I can't express the relief and gratitude I felt seeing him there. He made a most stressful situation so much more bearable. Dr. Hong knows his stuff, and has compassion and a great bedside manner to boot. Thank you!

Dr. Hong is the best physician I have had I 60 years. He is the unique combination of incredible intelligence and wonderful caring. He never medicates if there is an alternative. He calls you back. He visits us in the hospital even if he is not the doctor treating us. He cares. The best.

Dr. Hong is simply the best physician my family has ever known. He is knowledgeable about a broad spectrum of medical conditions and is imbued with great common sense. In conversations with other medical specialists in our community I have heard of their high regard for him. He is a doctor's Doctor. R LaGamma

Went in to see Dr. Hong as have done previously in the 13 years he has been my doctor. I was told that because I wasn't a member of his MDVIP private pay membership, which costs $1600 per year on top of insurance copayment and dr bills, that he could not see me. I invested 13 years to build up trust with a doctor and now he kicks me to the curb. I was deeply saddened. It is quite obvious that Dr. Hong no longer cares about me as a patient but is after the $$$$. Sad. Trust is gone.
