Awful, rude, horrible front desk staff
Had my first appointment with this doctor and she literally asked no questions about my family history at all. She did however, mock me for a medical condition I have and asked me why I hadn't had it taken care of sooner and told me it was very ugly. The person at the front desk, who is rude beyond belief is her husband. When I originally called to make my appointment, he told me he would have to speak to her directly and call me back. Two weeks went by and he never called me back so I called again. I reminded him that I called two weeks ago and he was so rude. Needless to say, I will never be going back to this place. My visit was over a year ago and they still haven't billed my insurance company. Good, cause I wasn't going to pay them a penny. I actually reported her to the medical review board

Wonderful Family Doctor
Dr. Pottanat listens to her patients and takes time with them to make sure they feel valued. She specializes in older adults but has an excellent rapport with people of all ages. I would not hesitate to send friends and family to her. If you are looking for a great practitioner, she is your doctor.

A Gerontologist Who Cares
Dr. Pottanat not only cares for her patients, she cares enough to be accessible and involved in her patients' lives. She is professional and a great diagnostician. If you are a senior adult, you need to greatly consider her as your personal physician.

Helpful and responsive doctor
Dr. Pottanat has been very responsive and helpful with care for my elderly father. She responded to us on the weekend and did a virtual visit with him so he could get a prescription on a Saturday. I really appreciate her responsiveness and communication with her patients' family members, especially in today's age when you can only get answering services.

Excellent! She cared for my mother for a few years and as my mother was a very difficult patient, managed to work with her more than my mother would let most other doctors. She was very understanding, caring and professional, so much so that I see her now myself. I enjoy her sense of humor and personal approach, as well as the fact she only suggests medical tests and medications she feels are really necessary. She was very helpful when we had to get more advanced care for my mother's cancer and knew immediately to refer us to specialists when she saw early changes in my mother's health. A big plus was her ready availability for appointments and flexibility when Mom would be delayed due to health issues trying to leave the house to get there. What also helped was that I was able to speak privately with her on my Mom's behalf, when my Mom would fight relaying medical problems and downplay her symptoms. Anyone with a difficult, aging parent appreciates that!

Very difficult to get in touch with. Rude staff. Does not show up for scheduled days at assisted living. Services are cursory at best. You are better off going to a random urgent care.

My mom has advanced Alzheimer's and we have been seeing Cissy for near 2 decades. She cares for my mom and husband and I. I think she is just the best, and offers a small practice feel while giving great care. She is very caring and will call and follow up on patients even at 9 pm at night. She is the best. Her desk (one lady) help a few days per week is not overly friendly, but efficient- but I can live with that.

UPDATE 3/7/16 Received phone call asking if I wanted to to renew them for my PCP. Told them what happened last time. It isn't our fault that our receptionist gave you wrong information. Went there once before had good service. I go again cause I need a Strep test done. The front desk lady (Kenia Guererr) talk to the nurse. She told they do everything at the office. When I get there and talk to the nurse she tells me they don't. To make matters worse do testing out of my network. Care1st
