Care Philosophy: From the moment he performed his first scoliosis surgery, Dr. Riley knew he found his life's calling. As a pediatric orthopedic surgeon specializing in the reconstruction of scoliotic spines, he is humbled to learn from his patients, children, and wife, every day. He is living his dream.

I would rather have people understand that I would like to help people rather than that I trained well. Medicine is fun, because you can have relationships with people. It was great to serve as a military field surgeon before entering my residency at Fitzsimmons hospital. One can still feel a little altruism about serving our country.

Care Philosophy: My responsibility to my patients is to communicate effectively and thoroughly the diagnosis and subsequent options for treatment. I'm privileged to be able to gain a persons' trust to treat their illness and assist them in improving their quality of life. With my extensive experience and education, I am able to perform various forms of treatment focusing on nonsurgical methods.

Biography: Dr. Ryan Carr is a board-certified and fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in disorders of the shoulder, hip, and knee. Procedures he performs includes joint replacement, advanced arthroscopic reconstruction surgery, and fracture management. Dr. Carr received his medical degree from Chicago Medical School and completed his surgical residency in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at University of Illinois. Prior to practicing in Denver, he was team physician for both professional and high school sports teams. In 2014, Dr. Carr was awarded the Vernon L. Nickel Research Award from the Orthopedic Research Association. When he is not in the office he enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and spending time with his wife and great dane.

Care Philosophy: I tend to treat each patient as an individual person, for each person's life take on different functions and needs. Therefore, I tend to give my patients choices in their care, giving them the information and guidance they need to make informed decisions.
