Biography: Dr. Tamar Reisman is a general endocrinologist with a commitment to providing inclusive, high-quality care for LGBTQ+ individuals. Her specific areas of expertise include transgender hormone therapy, sexual health throughout the lifespan, differences in sex development (DSD), and testosterone disorders. Dr. Reisman completed her Internal Medicine internship and residency at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, and her Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism fellowship at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine. Biography: Dr. Tirsit Asfaw is a Urogynecologist who specializes in the care of women with pelvic floor weakness resulting in conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse and bladder dysfunction. The network of pelvic structures which normally support a woman's uterus, bladder and rectum may weaken with progressing age, childbirth, obesity and other factors resulting in conditions such as cystocele, rectocele, uterine prolapse, urinary incontinence and bladder dysfunction.Dr. Asfaw offers comprehensive care for women with the above conditions. Her modes of treatment include robotic, abdominal, vaginal reconstructive surgery as well as medical and surgical treatment for urinary incontinence. She offers personalized treatment options that combine effective long term results with safe and quick recovery. Dr. Asfaw has an avid interest in clinical as well as basic science research and has presented her work at numerous national meetings and published in peer reviewed journals.Dr. Asfaw is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She received her undergraduate degree from Washington State University in Pullman, WA and her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Biography: Patricia Vuguin, MD, MSc, is Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Director of the Pediatric Endocrine Fellowship Program at Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC). She is also Medical Director of the Pediatric Thyroid Center at CUMC and NewYork-Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. Her expertise includes thyroid disease, metabolic syndrome, glucose metabolism, growth, puberty and disorders of puberty, and fetal programming of adult disease. Dr. Vuguin is an accomplished clinician, researcher, and educator. She is fluent in Spanish and English and empathetic to the medical needs of New York's Hispanic community. In her leadership role for the Pediatric Thyroid Center, she collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to care for children and adolescents with thyroid disorders, such as thyroid nodules and papillary thyroid cancer. In addition, Dr. Vuguin was the recipient of K08 and R21 awards from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), independent grants from pharmaceutical companies, and funding from the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She has published more than 50 peer-reviewed articles in research journals; presented her research findings at national and international meetings; and is an active member of the Pediatric Endocrine Society and the Society of Pediatric Research. Dr. Vuguin also completed a Master of Science Training Program in Clinical Research, an NIH-funded program offered by the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Prior to Columbia, Dr. Vuguin provided clinical care at Jacobi Medical Center, Montefiore Medical Center, and North Shore-Long Island Jewish (LIJ) Health System (now Northwell Health). She is a member of the SuperDoctors ® list and received an Outstanding Teacher Award from North Shore-LIJ Health System. The American Medical Association's Board of Trustees also selected her to serve on the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education Review Committee for Pediatrics.

Biography: Dr. Alexandra LeBental was born and raised in New Jersey before completing her undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis. She is board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Biography: Dr. Allegra Cummings is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and has maintained a thriving OB/GYN practice in New York City since 2002. While she is interested in all aspects of the specialty, she has a special interest in supporting women who choose vaginal birth after cesarean section (VBAC). Dr. Cummings received her undergraduate education at Barnard College, Columbia University. She earned her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in the Bronx, and was active in the Student National Medical Association, serving as Regional Director for New York and New Jersey. Dr. Cummings completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in New York City, which is now part of Mount Sinai. During her residency, she was awarded the David B. Crawford Prize for professionalism and leadership. She also was a finalist for a teaching award presented by the medical students at Columbia University. In 2011, while Dr. Cummings was a faculty attending, the obstetrics and gynecology residents at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital chose her as their best teacher. She is also the recipient of the National Faculty Award of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Cummings is fluent in English and speaks functional Spanish.
