Biography: Benjamin J. Bates, MD graduated from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. He completed the Wright State University General Surgery Residency Program. Dr. Bates has a number of certifications including Advanced Surgical Skills for Exposure in Trauma, Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. Biography: Patrick A. Larreategui, DO, FACOS is a board certified, general surgeon who received his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, East Lansing, MI. He completed his general surgery residency at Botsford General Hospital, Farmington Hills, MI. He joined Miami County Surgeons in 2003. Dr. Larreategui has been a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons since 2006. He is active on several committees at Upper Valley Medical Center and has served in several positions; 2nd Vice President of Medical Staff (2016), Chair of Credentialing Committee (2015), Surgery Department Chair 2013-2015.
