testicular cancer misdiagnosed
Went to Dr. Key for testicular discomfort. During the exam he said everything felt normal. I told him something felt VERY, different. He said he's been doing this a long time and the testicle felt normal to him. I asked multiple times if I could have an ultrasound to confirm because the discomfort was not normal. After the 4th time he reluctantly agreed to order the test.Shortly after the test I received a message stating the test wasn't normal. I was told I needed to come in as soon as possible. Once I got to the doctors office I had to wait 2 hours in the waiting room. My wife I were obviously very concerned about what the test had shown but still had to wait hours in the waiting room.Test results showed I had a tumor that was described as the size of a golfball!I immediately made an appointment and transferred all my records to the Simon Cancer Institute in Indiana and had surgery to remove the testicle. I was fortunate that I pushed to have the ultrasound!!!!!!

Completely different from last year. Last year they would not have even gotten a one star. It had nothing to due with the doctor but the office staff. This appointment I give 5 stars. Great experience in the office. Dr. Keys is very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all our questions. Way to make your office run more efficient and patient friendly.

Terrible. He told me blood in my urine was normal for some women, wrote off my symptoms as being endometriosis on the nerve running from my kidneys to my bladder. Two years down the line at my next endometriosis surgery my doctor comes back saying there was none near my bladder or my kidneys let alone the nerve running between them. He dismissed my test results from multiple other doctors showing signs of an infection, because they weren't done by his office and must be wrong and basically sent me on my way. Now I'm being told none of that is normal and am being referred to a new Urologist. Hopefully whatever's wrong with me hasn't caused damage in the two years it's been left alone.

He seems like a fine man and doctor, however it is impossible to actually get to see him because they are so busy. I tried 3 times and all i could get to see was a nurse practicianer, which was of very little value

The new patient examination with Dr Key actually took place over 5 years ago, but it was so humiliating and traumatic, I haven’t seen a urologist since. I have multiple sclerosis, and there are some positions one leg had not been able to accomplish for 10 years, however, for several minutes Dr Key and his nurse kept insisting I do it. Neither one of them understand the word “impossible,” so the exam left me feeling violated. It was horrible!

I suffered for over 10-years with urination difficulties under the care of the Premier Physicians Group, was prescribed various drugs that were supposed to help, and found my symptoms only worsening. Under David Key's care, I was trained to use a catheter, he erroneously diagnosed a bladder issue, and I suffered MRSA infections three times while in his care for a year! Another urologist recommended a TURP procedure, found no bladder issues, and I've been drug-free and cured these past 3-years!

I was in the ER twice in 24 hrs. due to extreme lower back/abdominal pain. The ER ran A LOT of tests, but was unable to give me a concrete diagnosis, other than a swollen kidney/possible stones that weren't showing up on scans/ultrasounds. I was referred to Dr. Key and got in two days later. He read my CT scan, immediately saw the large kidney stone lodged in my ureter, and had my surgery scheduled in less than 48 hrs. Surgery was smooth and I felt immediately better. He was a lifesaver!

Dr. Key performed my vasectomy. He has a great personality and made the procedure as easy as could be done. The staff was great, and I enjoyed their friendly approach. Anyone suggesting otherwise are just grumps trying to bring everyone around them down. Don't hesitate to see Dr. Key.

I was admitted to Miami Valley after a motor vehicle accident. This accident was in my work vehicle, so worker's compensation was the financially responsible party. I required surgery which was performed on the 6th of Jan 2017. As part of it, a stent was put in by Dr. Key; fully aware of the worker's comp responsibility. After released from the hospital, I was to follow up with Dr. Key. I was told by his office that he doesn't accept WC, and refuses to remove the stent! Unethical!

Dr. Key is a doctor with great bedside manner, that almost killed my father! My dad saw Dr. Key for acute urinary retention. Dr. Key did a CT of my dad's abdomen and a cath. (No blood work to check PSA or DRE was done.) When we asked if there was a possibility of prostate cancer, Dr. Key told us that he didn't have cancer. Two months later with another doc, we find out he has advanced prostate cancer!! Gleason score of 10, PSA of 19. Dr. Key should RETIRE or become a Walmart greeter!

Dr. Keys just kept sending me for more tests and I mean for allot more tests. After 6 months of waiting for my surgery he cancelled my operation and wanted to send me for more tests. I finally got smart and got me a new doctor and in 1 week had the surgery. I wouldn't recommend this guy to anyone. His office staff is rude. To much joking going on in his office. All he wanted to do was line everyone's pocket with my money. The doctor I have now saw all those tests and said why in the world
