Biography: Seif Elbualy, M.D., is the director of interventional pain management at Baptist Health's Marcus Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Elbualy specializes in interventional pain management, particularly for spine-related pain and failed back surgery syndrome. Dr. Elbualy joined the Marcus Neuroscience Institute from the Comprehensive Center for Pain Management at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, where he served as director. He is currently an affiliate assistant professor at the Charles A. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. He received his medical degree from the University of Florida, where he graduated with honors in research and honors in academic excellence. During medical school, he was invited to join the University of Florida College of Medicine admissions committee and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He received the resident of the year award and the highest neurosurgery board score award at the University at Buffalo Neurosurgery during his residency.
