Biography: Evan P. Trupia, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery. Dr. Trupia is an expert in advanced operative and non-operative care for issues of the hand and upper extremity, utilizing the latest surgical techniques, including minimally invasive arthroscopy and modern methods to reconstruct or replace arthritic joints. He also cares for fractures and general orthopedic trauma of the upper and lower extremities. After receiving a BS in Biology from Loyola University, Dr. Trupia graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Biography: Dr. Garry is an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery and a member of the hip and knee reconstruction service. He specializes in the operative and nonoperative treatment of the hip and knee in patients of all ages and is dual fellowship trained in both trauma and arthroplasty. Dr. Garry received his undergraduate degrees from Tufts University and the University of Maryland and medical degree from Georgetown University. After finishing his orthopedic surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center in 2017, he went on to complete an orthopedic trauma fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and an adult reconstruction fellowship at New York University Langone Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Garry has held posts as an orthopedic surgeon at both the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia, and the Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx and as an assistant professor of military medicine and orthopedic surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Maryland. He was also a naval flight officer in the U.S. Navy. Biography: Nicole S. Belkin, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, sports medicine specialist with expertise in non-operative and operative treatment of injuries and conditions affecting the knee, shoulder elbow, and hip. Dr. Belkin earned her medical degree from the University of Florida School of Medicine and completed her residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. She conducted laboratory research for an additional year at the university and won the Orthopedic Research and Education Foundation's Resident Clinician Scientist Award. Her research received both national and international recognition. Dr. Belkin completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Through this advanced training, she gained experience treating articular cartilage injuries, meniscus injury and meniscus deficiency, ligament reconstruction, patellofemoral conditions, early arthritis of the knee, shoulder dislocations and separations, rotator cuff tears, shoulder arthritis, elbow injuries and hip impingement. She is an expert in minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques and shoulder replacements. Biography: Dr. Mark T. Langhans is a second-generation fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports related injuries of both athletes and non-athletes alike at New York Presbyterian Hudson Valley. He is also an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Langhans completed his undergraduate work at the University of Notre Dame where he graduated with a degree in biochemistry with honors. He was awarded a National Institutes of Health training grant to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Scientist Training Program where he completed a PhD in molecular genetics and developmental biology in a the Center for Cellular and Molecular Engineering in addition to his MD. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for his clinical excellence in medical school. His orthopedic surgery residency was completed at the Hospital for Special Surgery followed by a sports medicine and shoulder fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. In addition to his training in the United States, Dr. Langhans has also trained with European experts in shoulder surgery at the Institute de Chirugie Reparatrice (Nice, France). Dr. Langhans has extensive experience caring for athletes of all levels from high school and college to professional and weekend warrior. At the Mayo Clinic, he served as an assistant team physician for the Minnesota Timberwolves (NBA) and the Minnesota Twins (MLB). Additionally, he served as head team physician for the Austin Bruins (NAHL) and the Rochester Grizzlies (NA3HL). His clinical and research interests are focused on the development of personalized medicine approaches for orthopedic conditions.
