Substandard care
I would not recommend Dr. Murray. I felt exam was rushed - 5 minutes - and was overcharged for an office visit that was approximately $250 more than 2 years ago (from same practice) that previously included diagnostic testing and an injection, not to mention a thorough exam of my shoulder. Dr. Murrary did not refer to a previous x-ray that was on file (and could not locate) and he did not prescribe an x-ray for comparision purposes nor an MRI. I left with a prescription for PT and medication that was ineffective. I hope the other physicians in this practice are more helpful than Dr. Murray was with me.

My Experience with Dr.Murray
I ‘ve been seeing Dr Murray for 9 months, I had excruciating pain in my groin, down my leg, and also my knee. He prescribed cortisone shots in my knee every 3 months and PT 2 times per week. My condition worsened so bad that I had to use a cane, I was not able to walk. I decided to get a second opinion . I had multiple x-raysAnd then I was shown my left hip that was completely deteriorated, My surgery was scheduled in a few days and I was in the hospital for one night. Now, after 4 weeks I can walk without a walker or cane. I hope other people will learn from my experience.

Impatient and unfriendly
My MRI showed a meniscus tear and arthritis on the knee. Doctor was checking my knee for painful points and when I tried to tell him where it actually hurt he impatiently told me to “just say yes or no, you don’t need to point”. Very uncaring way of treating someone in pain. Then he proceeded to say my condition was inoperable and just told me to do whatever I wanted regarding pt, injections, etc. So…I went there for a specialist’s recommendation and only left with negativity and doubt.

Uncaring, Substandard Doctor
There's not a nice word to say about this doctor, after observing his horrible, uncaring treatment of my elderly mother following a terrible fall. Dr. Murray performed my mother's orthopedic trauma surgery, but had virtually no interest in her rehabilitation--which is an essential component for successful recovery. For my mother to get into the rehab hospital with the specialized program necessary for her to walk again, she needed Dr. Murray, as her treating surgeon, to write a simple referral. But he belligerently refused, saying, "That's not my job" and telling our family to take it up with the hospital! The lack of a referral caused my mother to instead be moved to a Covid-laden nursing home where her legs and feet swelled like balloons, and she fell into a downward spiral of being confined to a roll walker! Murray then dumped my mother as a patient and said "My job is done!" This doctor never saw my wonderful mother as a human being, and had zero regard for her well-being.

Attended for a herniated disc. Rude lady at reception to start... and then rushed impersonal consultation with Dr. Murray. Poorly described diagnosis/treatment. Seemed like he just couldn't be bothered and was irritated to be asked any kind of questions. Did not expand on anything i asked and had to be prompted to provide any kind of information. Full interaction with him over two conversations was less than 5 mins.

Would not recommend. Very arrogant person and he was simply annoyed when I asked him a few questions. This was after a 40 minutes wait and 5 minutes actually spent with the doctor. I understand that he is pressed by time and answering questions would put him even further behind, but there must be a nicer, more polite, more human way of communicating that to the patients instead of just getting angry and walking away.

Dr. Murray is an excellent surgeon. The consummate professional. He did a wonderful job repairing my rotator cuff. He even provided pics of the repair. It is now 6 months after surgery and my shoulder is much better with no limitations. I've joined Planet fitness and I feel good doing arm and shoulder exercises. Thanks Dr. Murray for helping me to regain my mobility.

Hour and a half spent in office. Dr came in for 4 mins an hour after scheduled appt time. Waited 30 more minutes for xrays which he said were not the angles he wanted his tech to take. Left with nothing and will never return.

If you are pregnant and received a referral to see an Orthopedic doctor, I recommend you to look somewhere else, it seems like he had no expiriance with pregnancy, he had to call my prenatal clinic for advise although they were the one giving me the referral to see an Orthopedic.

We have yet to have the surgery. However, Based on our consultation. Dr. Murray was very patient and took the time to answer all of our questions. He did not rush us out of there and did not complete our meeting until we were satisfied.
