Arrogant and rude attitude
The worst Dr I’ve ever met! I went to Kaiser in Tustin for an emergency visit in June 2024, because I had punctual plug procedure done by another eye doctor in the morning, one didn’t even plugged in at all, and the other plug was too big, half of the plug was sticking out of my right eye duct, scratching my eyeball with sharp pain and made the corner of my eye bleeding. So I had to call Kaiser to squeeze me in two hours later on the same day!Once I stepped in the office, Dr. Sheila Bazzaz asked me why I come here and complained that she doesn’t want to see me, she said it’s not her job to take care another Dr’s mess. I explained to her that my right eye was in a lot of pain and that I needed her help to remove the partially protruding plug. However, she rudely and quickly pulled the plug out while complaining and kept telling me not to come back to her again. I don't understand why she would be so impatient and lack professional ethics in treating a patient this way.

She rushed through appointment with an arrogant and dismissive attitude, didnt explain well and pushes surgery as the solution without alternative options...Opts for scolding instead of educating.

I would never recommend her to anyone I know and also those I don't. She is either so arrogant that she thinks she doesn't need to follow protocol and help or she's so ignorant that she doesn't know how to help. A petite little medical creature that has a VERY giant bark.

Dr. Bazzaz performed cataract surgery on both eyes. During our first meeting she explained how she would proceed, answered all of my questions and provided written information on what I was required to do pre and post op. I left feeling confident that the surgery would be a successful ( and it was). Her staff is friendly, paid attention to details and made me comfortable before each surgery. I feel fortunate that Dr. Bazzaz was my doctor, couldn't have asked for better.

I would NOT recommend Dr. Bazzaz. You would waste your visit with her. She has no concern about patient's well being and health. I had a unpleasant visit with this lady.

She performed my surgery a couple of weeks ago and her bedside manner and follow-up is perfect! She is compassionate and thorough...I will have another surgery in September and I'm certain I will experience "more of the same"! Grateful that she is my surgeon...
