Excellent Doctor
Dr Eppsteiner performed surgery on my son and was so kind, calm, & explained the surgery thoroughly. His wonderful bed side manner made my son & myself at ease and we appreciated his true compassion. Highly recommend for any surgery your child needs to have!

Tonsils and Adenoid Surgery
My daughter had surgery in July 2024 with Dr Eppsteiner, he is amazing. Even though, they were running behind at the Surgical Suite. The staff and Dr Eppsteiner so thoughtful updating us when she would going in. Things happens and Drs. do run behind I was more concerned with my daughter. She recovered beautifully from the Tonsils and Adenoid Surgery. Totally recommend Dr. Eppsteiner, he was so reassuring with my daughter. Thank you so much.

I would highly recommend Dr. Eppsteiner
The first visit was as I expected with a specialist. He took my history and ordered the initial test to assess my condition. I made the mistake of looking at the test results in the patient portal. The first reading was by a radiologist(a general reading which was generally normal). At my second visit Dr. Eppsteiner explained he looks at specifics that assist him with diagnosing ENT problems. I went from no hope for improvement with my long standing problem to a good chance of some relief with treatment. He answered all my questions pertaining to his specialty that he saw he could assist with and helped me keep focused on that. He was direct, professional, personable, and pleasant. I nearly cried after the visit. Yes, there were appointments that needing rescheduling and waits on the phone. I found the office staff in person and on the phone courteous, professional, and trying to do their very best. And I am returning to see him for yet another problem with my cranky body.

I can breathe again
I developed couple polyps that were making my sleep very difficult. After seeing DR Eppsteiner, we tried medication. It did not do much for me. I have a virtual follow up with him and discussed scheduling surgery to remove the polyps. He was able to get me in next day and took care of those pesky polyps. I can finally sleep restfully again. Surgery was easy and recovery was even easier. I'm very happy with my outcome.

Terrible - stay away
He never calls back, he gave me a med that made things worse and then dropped me it seems as a patient cause I never could get through to him after multiple times. He orders a ct scan that needed to be changed because of the contrast and he said he never ordered it - which the hospital has a record of but his office doesn’t? He is just a terrible Dr and the practice itself has bad service even when you escalate things to the practice manager they never cell you back - even after 7-8 times trying.

Horrible service
This doctor is a joke. I waited over 45 minutes to be seen then another 15 minutes. For a 10 minute appointment. He seemed like I wasted his time. There's nothing worse than that if you have throat pain you want some answers and he gave me none only told me you're fine

Exceptional Care
Dr. Eppsteiner was wonderful with my son who emergently had his tonsils and adenoids removed with concern for possible Lymphoma. Dr. Eppsteiner made himself available to us, answered our questions and went above and beyond to get us in for surgery in a timely manner. Dr. Eppsteiner was patient, knowledgeable, compassionate and professional during a very concerning time for us. Something that stood out to us was that Dr. Eppsteiner reached out to other colleagues to confirm that his plan for surgery would be most effective and appropriate for our sons unique situation. Following surgery, Dr. Eppsteiner followed up with us several times to check on our son and share results. His entire team from Child Life, the OR nurses and Melissa who scheduled and prepared us for surgery were top notch! I highly recommend Dr. Eppsteiner and we feel incredibly grateful for his expertise and exceptional skills that allowed our son to be safe under his care and now healthy following surgery!

Dr Eppsteiner treated me like a friend
I would highly recommend Dr Eppsteiner for your ent concerns. When I was having trouble with my voice I went to his office. I was diagnosed with vocal cord cancer. From my biopsy to follow up care I could not of found a more competent, compassonate, caring, and patient Dr. I asked a lot of questions and never felt rushed or misunderstood. Dr Eppsteiner was upfront and answered all my questions without hesitation. I am very thankful for his care. I look forward to my remaining follow up appointments.

Very disappointing
I waited a month to be called back after I had been referred. I waited several months after that for an appointment. He spent 10 minutes with me, declared my sudden onset, unilateral tinnitus was due to hearing loss and that I should work on stress reduction. I felt completely rushed out of the appointment. We did not discuss what role my underlying neurological disease may play, what role my inflammatory disease may play, nor did we discuss any of the medications I take (including meds that have tinnitus as a side effect). I don’t believe he spent one minute reading my chart, or there may have been a longer discussion. The appointment was definitely not worth the wait but with the shortage of specialists they can get away with this kind of care.

Best ENT Around
Dr Eppsteiner is amazing- I can’t express how grateful I am for his persistence, skill and kindness while working me over the last year. He and the rest of the team have helped me take my health and my hearing back- it was a terrible cycle of blocked sinuses due to enormous polyps- which caused my sinuses to get infected time and time again - the fluid was draining into my lungs and causing infections that created pneumonia half a dozen times in 2022. He never gave up - continued to work through ups and downs with me and I’m finally feeling like a human being again! We had a big family trip planned to Hawaii in May and he went out of his way to put new ear tubes in to ensure I’d be ok during the 15 hour flight. Thank you thank you thank you! So grateful I found you!

Highly recommended
I was diagnosed with cancer of the tongue 5 years ago and was referred to Dr. Eppsteiner for consultation and treatment options. Over the course of the 5 years, he showed compassion and a real concern for me as a person, not just as a patient. He answered all my questions and guided me through each procedure. I feel very lucky to have him as my doctor for the cancer I had and highly recommend him.

Great Dr.!
Dr. Eppsteiner corrected my deviated septum as well as removing/reducing the size of polyps I had been having trouble breathing for over a year and(nose Stuffy every day one side always worse then the other) so Dr. suggested the procedure. for me after coming out of surgery there was not pain, my bleeding for the most part stopped by the 1st night. Dr. Eppsteiner was great throughout the whole process ad I could feel the results right away been almost a month since the surgery and every day has been clear breathing ! Dr. did mention that he dose this procedure (removal/reduction of polyps most of the time in younger adults (I am almost 63) buy it absolutely improved my breathing 100%

Quality Care
Dr. Eppsteiner is a compassionate and dedicated professional. He diagnosed me with cancer over five years ago. I continue to visit him twice a year for checkups. He is concerned with my health, my quality of life, and my relationship with my family. Dr. Eppsteiner is concerned with a broad spectrum of things in my life, not just the cancer. The entire office is professional and friendly. Another perk is that my appointments start close to the scheduled time. No long waits. I consider fortunate to have been under his care for over five years.

I saw Dr Eppsteiner for a paralyzed vocal chord and he performed a procedure to give me temporary relief to help me evaluate permanent procedure. He explained ALL my options in terms that I could understand. His bedside manner was phenomenal, he doesn't talk down to you and is very easy to work with and understand. I would HIGHLY recommend him. He referred me to a doctor out in Boston for a permanent solution and was extremely helpful getting everything setup. Overall an extremely positive experience.

I came to see Dr. Eppsteiner because of a branchial cleft cyst. The side of my neck was swollen and I was a 10/10 in pain. Dr. Eppsteiner couldn't have been nicer. He is a caring doctor that cared that I was in pain and did everything he could to fix this issue without surgery. He drained the fluid out of my neck twice and tried antibiotics. With that being said nothing worked and surgery was inevitable. The surgery was a complicated major operation and I was very lucky that Dr. Eppsteiner completed it. He is very talented and I would recommend him to any client needing care. I am now pain free in my neck and I have Dr. Eppsteiner to thank!

Excellent. After visiting another ENT office for over 2 years I tried a new ENT office in Springfield MA. Dr. Eppsteiner was able to diagnose my condition and solve the problem with a surgical procedure. I can breath easily thru my nose for the first time in over 2 years. Condition solved in a couple months.

I was diagnosed with tongue cancer and referred to Dr. Eppsteiner. He evaluated me and set up the surgery right away, took into consideration my allergies to certain diagnostic compounds and adjusted my prep accordingly. He moved efficiently and competently to get me into surgery and handled me with respect, attentiveness and confidence. His wisdom, skill and commitment to do the best he can has added days to my life and I am grateful.
