Dr. Michael Bergstein, MD

I went to Dr. Bergstein to have wax removed from my ears. While I was there I told him about my past history with allergies. Years of misery, thousands of allergy pills and gallons of nasal decongestant sprays with very little relief. He suggested a nasal endoscopy which was easy and painless. The results were shocking. He saw mucus and stomach acid in my throat which indicated that I was suffering, not from allergies, but from acid reflux!! The bottom line is, I am feeling great and symptom free. Dr. Bergstein is a great physician who enjoys what he does and he has made my life a lot better.

Had deviated septum surgery performed by Dr. Bergstein, everything was incredible start to finish. Staff in his offices are great, he follows up consistently until you're all healed and he's the best at what he does.

He explains everything to me and answers any and all questions that I pose to him. He never rushes, takes his time in examining me. He is just a very nice person. Everything about the procedure was positive from start to finish. The surgical director did an outstanding job communicating all the steps involved from start to finish. I was referred to Dr Bergstein after having a molar pulled which caused a very large fistula between my oral and sinus cavities. Dr Bergstein determined I would need surgery to close it, clean out a serious infection in both cavities which resulted from the fistula and also repair a deviated septum. He introduced me to a great oral surgeon who assisted/partnered with the surgical procedure. Dr Bergstein explained my procedure in detail and told me what to expect. He's very straight forward which is appreciated. All aspects of my surgery were successful and the healing time was pretty extensive with many follow up visits to both surgeons. Dr Bergstein always fielded my questions post surgery even on a weekend!

I was referred to Dr. Bergstein after not having any sense of smell or taste for over a year. I used over the counter treatments, holistic treatments, treatments prescribed by my internist - nothing helped. I thought my anosmia was the result of COVID-19. I had a severely deviated septum and Dr. Bergstein made me good as new.
