Unprofessional and uncaring
If I could give Dr. Zhong zero stars, I most certainly would. Rank insensitivity and unprofessionalism. I arrived at her office at CHOC at 11:48 am on Thur, April 7, 2022 for an 11:30 am appointment, having driven 45 min to take my daughter to see her. I was delayed nearly 20 min in getting my daughter out of school, as there was a hangup in the school's attendance office. Dr. Zhong's secretary (nurse?) went to her office to talk to her, and then notified us that the doctor would not see us. She said that Dr. Zhong allows a 15 min grace period, we were outside of that, and there were "no exceptions." I protested that I had driven 45 min to come to see her, and that I had encountered a delay in getting my daughter out of school. Her secretary said, "It doesn't matter," and still refused to admit my daughter. I asked her if Dr. Zhong was seeing another patient at the time. She denied this, but simply said that the doctor was "very busy." I asked how long appointments usually last, and s
