Dr. Paul Liebrecht, MD

Dr. Liebrecht has a sense of humor, has a no nonsense approach and tells it like it is. I had a severely broken ankle with previous hardware. Dr Liebrecht did my surgery and checked on my progress weekly. He had home health care come to work with me for wound care and physical therapy. Am waiting to return to work as I am still non weight bearing, but would highly recommend Dr Liebrecht to any future patients!

I went to Dr Liebrecht for several different issues such as Rotator cuff repair and knee surgery. I had a bad fall which caused some of the problems and at first he was afraid I had fractured my pelvis due to the pain. He immediately ordered test and had the results sent to him before I could even get back to his office from the test. He saw something and sent me over to the gynecologist which was later found out it was ovarian cancer. Had he not been concerned then I wouldn't be here today!! He is a tough Dr but he cares about the wellbeing of his patients!! He wants his patients back as close to what they were before their problem. I have all my faith in Dr Leibrecht and have had alot of dealings with him!! He will fight for his patients!! I saw that with me when the therapy I was going to was slacking in their responsibilities!! He doest sugar coat anything but he does have a sense of humor after you get to know him. Very intelligent with all he does!! Thank you Dr Leibrecht!!

When my brother Chuck was in Twin County Regional Hospital he complained about back pain, Dr. Borhanjoo, the hospital doctor, consulted with Dr. Liebrecht who ordered an MRI. Upon reviewing the MRI, Dr. Liebrecht rendered the opinion that Chuck needed back surgery, but Dr. Liebrecht never physically examined Chuck. Back surgery is complicated, and since Chuck had a BMI over forty, the risks of surgery were much higher for him. Back surgery on Chuck could have had significant consequences—including death. Fortunately, Dr, Borahanjoo walked back Dr. Liebrecht’s recommendation, but it was an egregious oversight to have recommended surgery without doing a physical exam and properly assessing the patient’s condition. Chuck was a high-risk candidate for surgery, which Dr. Liebrecht should have known.

Really like him. No nonsense doctor that gets it done with a sense of humor

I am lpn nurse who works for home health. It is my experience that dr liebrecht is the best in orthopedics I care for many of his cliants and can say first hand he is the utter most best. I say this with experience in also caring for other orthopedic doctors cliants. If you are in need of a dactor do you want a overly nice doctor or do you want one who is proven to have the best results and experience? I perfer the best.... and he is the best..

Dr. Liebrecht is extremely rude and uncaring toward his patients. I took my husband who has end stage renal failure to him for a spinal fracture and he says because he is a dialysis patient and would have to work around his dialysis schedule he would rather not treat him. His exact words were " I can not work like that". Also instead of helping him sit up on the exam table he stood at his feet and said "up zimba up" Don't worry we will never again seek treatment from you.

I do not recommend this doctor, I went once before for water on the knee and will not ever go back to him. He is rude, does not let me answer questions completely. I told him that my mother 87 had neck injuries, when younger and has deteriorated a lot and I wanted to see what I could do to help myself before I get that bad. I had some falls and that is when I began having neck problems. The doc said I should be happy my mother is still breathing at her age. I found that very insulting and rude.
