Khill review on Dr. Micah Jones
Dr. has performed surgery on both myself and my son. My son has intelligence and developmental disabilities. Dr. Jones took the time necessary to ease my sons fears and make certain he felt comfortable about his surgery. That truly marked a place in my heart. Therefore, when it came time for my own ortho appt and subsequent surgery Dr. Jones was my obvious first choice. The empathy and concern he shows for all his patients is overwhelming. I would and have referred Dr. Jones to many others and will continue to do so. Dr. Jones is one of those individuals that left me with the opinion that he was placed here specifically by God to do the work he does. Thank you Dr. Jones for all the lives you’ve impacted and made better. You are extremely appreciated.

Right hand and wrist surgery.
I recently had right hand and wrist surgery with Dr. Jones for an injury I obtained over 4 years ago. I had tried conservative treatment with several cortisone injections but the pain returned and I was loosing hand strength at this point. On my exam with Dr. Jones, he said that I had torn a ligament accounting for the loss of strength in my right hand and would need a ligament reconstruction, and release of a thumb and wrist tendon. He offered me surgery to help regain hand strength and hopefully long lasting pain relief. As a nurse who worked in a hospital setting, I saw how professional, knowledgeable and kind he was to his patients and staff and I knew he would be the surgeon I would choose for my hand surgery. Dr. Jones and his staff have been wonderful and I am doing very well and pleased with my surgery at this time. I have a ways to go till full recovery but I am optimistic for a better quality of life with the surgery Dr. Jones has done for me I would highly recommend him.

Dr Jones is absolutely the best Dr I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I broke my ulna and have had no problems since starting care with him. He explained everything to me and surgery could not have gone better. I never took any painkiller after surgery. Everything went beyond my expectations! He's caring and kind and immensely talented!

I severed the tendons in my finger and Dr. Jones took me quickly and reattached the tendons. He and his staff were all very helpful, professional, informative, and willing to listen to my questions and concerns. I am extremely pleased with all the care I have received.

I had thumb surgery in October and everything went great. Dr. Jones is the best surgeon I have ever been to, my thumb is just like a new one. Not only is he skilled but very kind & friendly. I have recommended him to my friends. All the staff at Lewis-Gale is outstanding. I am really impressed by the waiting time, which is minimal.

I have had the pleasure to see both Dr. Micah Jones and Dr. Kathryn Hoyt and they have become my favorite doctors. Both of them are very nice and make you feel so comfortable. Honestly, this whole office is amazing. I couldn’t ask for a better orthopedic office. Both of the doctors I have seen have been very thorough and concerning of my needs. All the staff seem to enjoy being there and helping you succeed. This office was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone!!

Dr.Jones is a wonderful capable physician, who actually takes the time to listen. I appreciated the time spent with him. The problem is waiting. The first time I saw him, I waited 40 minutes after my appointment time in the waiting room .I finally went up to the desk to tell them.I was taken to the exam room within 5 minutes.I truly think I was forgotten, even though I had checked in immediately upon arrival. My second visit,I was called back within 5 minutes, but waited in the exam room 45 minutes, and at that point I opened the door and asked if I would be seen. Then Dr.Jones came into the room. I feel that the waiting needs to be addressed, and patients need to be told if there is a problem. Otherwise Dr.Jones addressed my needs very well..I’m thankful there is a caring physician in Dr. Jones.Thank you.

To diagnose and eradicate the cause of “trigger finger” in my left hand. X-rays located the problem and Dr Jones gave two shots in the palm of my left hand. Every day since then the trigger finger somewhat lessened.
