His honesty, commitment to quality care, his staff is very caring.

The doctor stated that I had a loose screw in my fusion that was probably causing me pain. He didn't remove the screw . He removed the complete fusion and placed it at the bottom of my spine. Now I can't bend or walk properly and fall almost everyday. I would not recommend Dr. Garrido

Dr. Garrido brings the highest level of skills to orthopedic spine practice. He coordinates with the best radiologists and interventional radiologists to accomplish the best results from the surgical procedures he performs. I have moderately severe scoliosis; the three surgeries performed have greatly reduced my pain. I come from SE Georgia for his continued skills. My husband was the first to encounter Dr. Garrido some years go. The highly regarded neurosurgeon who had done several spine surgeries on my husband stated he could "do nothing for him". Dr. Garrido took old hardware out, and replace to give much improved function and comfort. I rate him the best in the Southeast

Dr Garrido, is a wonderful Dr. Great bedside manner and he really listens to his patients and there concerns. I have had several back surgeries from him and they all have been successful. He also has a great staff working for him.

We had a telephone visit because my husband is crippled by his condition. Dr. Garido was able to view his images & provided a consultation that offers our first opportunity for surgical intervention.

Dr. Garrido is a gifted surgeon. After suffering from symptoms of sciatica for over eight months, I was referred to Dr. Garrido by Lake Norman Regional Medical Center's ER. He looked at my MRI on the spot, and said "We can help you." I was scheduled for surgery within two weeks. It would have been sooner, but Covid testing delayed the date by a few days. My L5 disc was bulging and impeding my sciatic nerve. In addition there was debris and calcification at the L5 level which also contributed to the sciatic symptomology. His staff as well as the LNRMC surgery staff performed beyond all expectations. I went home the same day. Since surgery I am pleased to report that I am free of all sciatica symptoms. The one-inch incision is now healing and I fully expect to resume my normal activities and get on with my life very soon. I write this review two days after surgery. And I hold Dr. Garrido and staff in highest regard. Thank you to the powers that be!

Great dr. , very informative

From beginning to end, excellent.

I have been a patient of Dr. Garrido’s for 4 years. I have had two surgeries. Dr. Garrido is very skilled surgeon and has a caring bedside manner. He is not quick to cut. His PA’s (Abigail and Sara) are knowledgeable and explains surgical procedures and follow up timely with any questions I have had. The receptionist, Betty, treats you like a family member. Everyone at the office has been friendly and helpful. I have referred several people to Dr. Garrido because I trust him that much.

There is no question he is the best.

It was either my 4th or 5th visit I can’t remember,but I told him my pain was better and then told him I was still experiencing numbness in my hand. He then recommended more shots in my neck in which I had a severe allergic reaction to that made me have a ER visit (nurse added it to file the visit before that) that tells me he did not look at my file before even entering the room a hr and a half past my appointment time! I find him to not have any bedside manner at all and just wants to keep sending you here and there not taking In account that everyone isn’t made of money.

This man changed my life, the pain I was having was unbearable. Dr. Garrido found the problem and was able to correct it. The staff made the process understandable and walked me thru the what was going to happen. After surgery in recovery my pain was gone and now six months later I have had no issues. I have told all my friends and people that ask about what happened if you ever need a surgeon for your spine this is the man to see. I am usually skeptical about filling these out, I fell very strongly about what this Dr. has done for me.

Dr. Garrido performed surgery on my L4 & L5 lumbar area and the pain I had prior to the surgery is gone. He did an excellent job. Joan Wentzel

Would NOT recommend this uncaring, unsympathetic, rude doctor to anyone. He was in and out of the exam room in under 3 minutes. I never had a chance to ask the man not even one question. And the worse thing is he was rude to my dad when he took me to my appointment. In my opinion there's no excuse for someone being rude to a 90 year old man. Last time I went to see one of the PA's she was going to call me the next day to let me know what Garrido said about doing surgery. That was 3 months ago and no one has called me back yet. Needless to say, I'll be looking for another doctor.
