Biography: Daniel K. Davis, MD is a board certified orthopedic surgeon that specializes in advanced arthroscopic and reconstructive techniques involving the shoulder, elbow and knee. As a sports medicine physician, Dr. Davis' minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques minimize perioperative morbidity and, in most cases, results in a superior outcome and quicker recovery when compared with traditional techniques. He also excels in the application of the latest technologies in joint replacement surgery of the shoulder and knee. Dr. Davis also has extensive experience in the treatment of traumatic conditions of the skeleton utilizing the latest advances in intramedullary devices as well as locked compression plating techniques. These devices have revolutionized the treatment of complex periarticular fractures allowing stable fixation despite less invasive techniques, ultimately minimizing co-morbidities, and enhancing functional recovery from injuries. Dr. Davis is also the team doctor for Moorpark High School football.

Biography: Dr. Kevin A. Nadel has been practicing orthopaedics since 2005. "I enjoy helping people with their injury so they don't have to change their lifestyle and they can minimize their time away from the activities they enjoy," he says."I try to personally get to know the patient and learn what they're trying to achieve," he says. "I spend the time that everybody needs so they don't leave thinking something was missed."Dr. Nadel was the team physician for the Boston University and University of Massachusetts Boston athletic teams and continues working with athletes, currently volunteering as the physician for the Calabasas High School football team. In his time outside the office, Dr. Nadel stays active and enjoys playing tennis, skiing and golf. He also has two boys and enjoys spending time with his family. He lives in the West Valley and is currently available to see patients in both West Hills and Westlake Village. Dr. Nadel grew up in Newport Beach, CA, before heading east for his education and medical training. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University and continued his education at Chicago Medical School, Finch University of Health Sciences, where he received both master's and medical degrees. Following an orthopaedic residency at the State University of New York Stony Brook campus, Dr. Nadel completed a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopy at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Nadel is also Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Bawa's treatment philosophy revolves around the importance of caring for the whole patient. He firmly believes that, in addition to treating a patient's orthopedic condition, it is imperative to address the emotional and social aspects of his or her life as well. He also believes in the value of evidence-based medicine, as it gives his patients optimal outcomes.
