Needs to listen to patient
I saw Dr Lee for an injury. He did not examine me or listen to me on how the pain was getting worse and told me to see my primary care doctor. Because of the dissatisfaction in care I went to see another doctor who did a full examination, found exactly where the cause of pain was and explained a treatment plan.

I agree with all the reviews with the exception that he is not up on the most current hip surgery. I went to Dr. Lee for my shoulder and he completed the rotator cuff surgery with no issues and I feel great! So when he said I needed a new hip, I agreed to do it right away. My fault for not looking into this more. Dr. Lee performs posterior hip replacements. The anterior hip replacement is much better and more up to date. Dr. Lee did not take into account the length of the new hip so now my right leg with my new hip is 1' longer than my left leg. Surgery in October 2020 and for the rest of my life I will have chiropractic appts, back issues, knee issues and now my foot is really giving me a lot of pain, so I will have to wear orthotics. One surgery....pain for the rest of my life. I can only wish for a new hip on my left side. Please do your research before moving forward with surgery. Something I should have done.

Confident doctor who knows his stuff!
Comfortable. Communicative. Will decide your issue by talking with and examining you. Knowledgeable. Easy to talk with when discussing your issues. Very comfortable and confident feeling you get when you see him. My treatment went well as he didn't disagree with me, but did make very good recommendations. I go back on May 20th. Follow up to see if I still need a cortisone injection in my shoulder. We decided together to give my painful shoulder another two weeks to see if it gets better without cortisone. We decided this together. It hasn't, ouch!!

Dr Michael Lee is a very intelligent and an experienced orthopaedic Physician. Entire office team is efficient, right on schedule and impressive. Clinic is very clean. I would definitely recommend Dr Michael Lee for your orthopedic need.
