Biography: Dr. Varun Sundaram received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Washington University in St. Louis. After eight years in St. Louis, he moved to Dallas, Texas, where he completed his general surgery and urologic surgery training at UT Southwestern. During his training, Dr. Sundaram developed an interest in advanced robotic surgery of the prostate, bladder, and kidney. He is well versed in treatments for benign prostatic hyperplasia ranging from robotic simple prostatectomy for very enlarged prostates to newer minimally invasive options, such as rezum or urolift, for medium and small sized glands. Dr. Sundaram also offers more traditional methods, such as transurethral resection of the prostate, laser ablation of the prostate, and transurethral incision of the prostate.

Harmon is highly regarded by his peers and patients for his surgical skills and bedside manner. In 2004, Urology San Antonio's then CEO, a fellow urologist, selected Harmon to perform his successful kidney cancer surgery.As a member at the nation's busiest kidney transplant program at the Texas Transplant Institute, Harmon is responsible for removing kidneys from healthy adult donors. Each week, he performs three to four living donor nephrectomies.Harmon is the medical director of Urology San Antonio and established the practice's post-doctoral laparoscopic fellowship training program. In addition, he acts as a clinical assistant professor for local urology residents, providing hands on surgical instruction.Harmon earned his medical degree at the University of Chicago and completed his internship and residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Biography: Dr. Carl Bischoff is a graduate of Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Bischoff completed his Urology residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, and his Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Bischoff practices general urology with a focus on urologic oncology. He has a special interest in robotic and laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of urologic cancers as well as reconstructive surgery. Dr. Bischoff has been chosen to train on the daVinci SP Surgical System – a state-of-the-art robotic system that reduces surgical access to one incision, while allowing 360 degree maneuverability and an expanded range of surgical instruments. Carl Bischoff serves as the Chief of robotic surgery at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center and Arise Austin Medical center. He enjoys living in Austin with his wife, Emily, and their four children, Emma Claire, Annaliese, Madeline, and Wyatt. Dr. Bischoff has been recognized as a ``Top Doctor`` under the category of Urology in the January 2019 edition of Austin Monthly Magazine.
