Dr. Ruff Very personal and compassionate perso!
I’ve been thur a lot. Kidney cancer, prostate cancer. Real live changing evens in my life. Dr. Ruff has been there for me every step of the way of my surgery decisions and recovery steps. After 7 years of cancer free. I feel relieved and confident that I will live a long life with him watching and guiding me to be a 100 years old.

Urology Austin
So thankful for doctors Peter Ruff and David Phillips. They literally saved my life! Dr. Phillips discovered a problem and guided me through to the biopsy that revealed cancer. His guidance was invaluable and ultimately led me to Dr. Ruff for the needed surgery. I thank God that Dr. Ruff was available to perform my prostate removal surgery. Knowing about his experience gave me great comfort going into the surgery, and due to his skill, I'm now on the road to what I expect will be a full recovery. I couldn't be happier with the treatment I've received from Dr. Ruff. He's truly a Godsend!

Outstanding Physician
Dr. Ruff has been my urologist for five years. He was the surgeon for my prostatectomy. He has always been a very knowledgeable and excellent doctor. He asks questions and always listens to any concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Ruff.

Knowledgeable and Compassionate
When my PCP told me I needed to see a urologist, I asked her who she would go see if she needed to see one, and she told me Dr. Peter Ruff at Austin Urology. Dr. Ruff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He was also very careful with bringing up issues to which I might sensitive but had to be discussed. I liked that he didn’t believe the results of a test and did a more conclusive test. The second test showed he was right. Another doctor in a meet em, treat em, street em clinic might have just taken the first test results, built a diagnosis off of it, and sent me on my way. Dr Ruff discussed options about what could help me, and we came to a decision. I never felt talked down to or belittled due to my body issues. The staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Austin Urology and Dr. Ruff.
