Care Philosophy: Mark R Zunkiewicz MD is board certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship trained in orthopedic sports medicine and arthroscopy In addition to general orthopedic medicine he has a special interest in sports medicine rehabilitation and wellness shoulder and knee procedures knee and shoulder replacements fracture care hand and wrist surgery and foot and ankle surgery He enjoys working with athletes and active people of all ages with a goal of returning his patients to competition and the level of activity they expect in a safe and efficient way A summa cum laude Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University where he was a varsity track and field athlete Dr Zunkiewicz earned multiple academic scholarships and has been an Eagle Scout since 1996 He earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Ohio currently known as The University of Toledo College of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh capping his tenure there as Chief Orthopedic Surgery Resident He thereafter completed a one year advanced fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine and arthroscopy at the Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Jackson MS

Care Philosophy: My goal in medicine is to get patients back to participating in the activities they enjoy with the least intrusive treatment possible. In orthopedic surgery we are fortunate that scientific progress has created solutions for the majority of issues that affect an individual's quality of life. It is an honor to be able to get patients back to doing the things that bring joy to their lives whether it be sports or just spending time with loved ones.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Denard is passionate about treating his patients with dignity and encourages his patients to be actively involved in their health care treatment. He is fluent in Spanish, Haitian, Creole and French.
