Dr. Albert Volk, MD

He did arthroscopic surgery on the meniscus in my left knee many years ago. I was so satisfied with Dr. Volk and his staff that now, since I believe it’s happened again, I need to make an appointment.

I was seen several minutes after checking in.Dr. Volk & staff were friendly, knowledgeable, professional, helpful. I was given the care I needed (x- rays, thorough exam, cortisone shot), to ease my pain.At home care plan was discussed as an option instead of costly PT as requested). Follow-up visits were scheduled if needed w/ an option to return in a week if pain worsened. Dr. Volk was compassionate & under standing of my needs. He did not rush my visit & spent a good amount of time explaining things & answering Q's I had. This is the 2nd time I have visited him this year. Previous (injury). I highly recommend him & his team, including physical therapy staff. Thanks X-ray techs, Vicky @ front desk (for answers to my insurance Q's, & Dr.'s assistant Arlo - all wonderful. Definitely the type of Dr. & staff we need more of in this industry.

It is very nice to visit this place from the girls in the front, the X-ray people nurses etc. I drive from Palm Coast and would not do it any other way.

Excellent experience from Dr Volk and the physical therapy!

Dr volk did not rush but gave sufficient time explaining the results of my mri. Besides his medical expertise he, in my opinion has a pleasant manner

So happy that Dr Volk is still practicing because I trust him and he’s been in charge of keeping me going for decades! I have 100% recoveries and do my PT as prescribed for these results.

Dr Volk is a very kind and knowledgable man. I enjoy him and his also kind and sweet assistant, Argo.

I started my treatment after going to the ER, and couldn't get a script because i couldn't get call to or from the office. it took me a long period of time to finally get to PT, and that was out of you office to a different company... you all could not do a thing for me for weeks.

Dr. Volk repaired my rotator cuff and bicep tear in 2015. The result was complete use of my arm. Physical therapy was at their facility which I would highly recommend as well. I now am having an issue with my other arm. X-ray's show it is not a tear so I am going for physical therapy to strengthen it. Dr. Volk does NOT push surgery unless it is necessary

20+ years after my shoulder surgery and Dr. Volk is the only one I'd go to for shoulder advice. His staff is a delight & he freely gives of his time & experience.

Everyone was very courteous. Please with the spaciousness in the waiting areas, especially during these uncertain times in which we live. Dr. Volk and his Assistant made me very comfortable as I was scared of taking the injection, which was over before I knew it. My treatment was excellent and the exercise are working since my shoulder feels much better today. I have 40% more movement in my arm than I did yesterday.

1st time with Dr Volk for shoulder evaluation. On time. Thorough. Listened and answered my questions. Not rushed.

I got my appointment within 24Hrs, staff was very nice and helpful (I was on crutches), they were on time with my appointment, PA and physician were very kind and spent time with me and were very detailed in their explanations to me. I had xrays and the staff in xray was very kind and patient.

Several years ago I had a seriously fractured femur, and associated damage. Ambulanced to the Emergency room late one evening, Dr Volk (we met on the operating table) operated the next morning. Within 3 months of rehab I was fully functional. Today, at 80, I forget I even have a rod in my leg I shall always be grateful for both his competence and character. The kind of Doctor you would trust your life tp.

Awesome doctor has fixed both my shoulders and my wife’s knee

I would not recommend him. A friend had bicep tenodesis performed by Volk and ended up with a popeye muscle later that Volk said didn’t need to be fixed. She later had a second opinion done by a doctor in Jacksonville and all worked great and the Popeye muscle deformity was repaired. When I had a torn labrum she warned me about Volk and unfortunately I did not listen. Volk did bicep tenodesis on me too and my arm was painful for over a year after. I had a repair done by that doctor in Jacksonville later after his second opinion and all is well now. Although the second surgeon wouldn’t “say the word botched” he said specifically that he wouldn’t have chosen to perform the tenodesis arthroscopically. Also of not, almost every time I went to meet with Volk I ended up seeing his physician assistant instead of him. They knew I was having trouble with pain in my arm and I was saying something isn’t right, but I mostly met with an assistant. With the other surgeon in Jacksonville it was him
