Biography: Michael Van Vliet is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon and Surgical Intensivist providing compassionate care to the most critically ill burn patients. Serving as Medical Director for Blake Hospital Burn and Plastic Surgery Center, Dr. Van Vliet manages patient's needs from the acute state of illness through reconstruction and beyond. He treats patients with hand injuries, complex wounds, traumatic defects, congenital deformities, and cancer. In addition, Dr. Van Vliet manages a variety of aesthetic concerns for patients, including surgery of the body and breast.

Dr. Prebish is a cum laude graduate of Michigan State University and Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he served as a two-term elected student body Vice President. During his surgical residency, he served as chief surgical resident two consecutive years. He was nominated by his peers to serve as the Chief of Staff at HCA Pasadena Hospital. He now serves the Pinellas county community at HCA Pasadena Surgical Specialists. My care philosophy is to provide my patients with compassionate, contemporary, evidence-based surgery using minimally invasive techniques.

He is currently the medical director of the Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center and the Burn and Plastic Surgery Center at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. Dr. Socas obtained his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, where he also complete his residency programs for General Surgery and Plastic Surgery.
