Biography: Nicole S. Belkin, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, sports medicine specialist with expertise in non-operative and operative treatment of injuries and conditions affecting the knee, shoulder elbow, and hip. Dr. Belkin earned her medical degree from the University of Florida School of Medicine and completed her residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. She conducted laboratory research for an additional year at the university and won the Orthopedic Research and Education Foundation's Resident Clinician Scientist Award. Her research received both national and international recognition. Dr. Belkin completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Through this advanced training, she gained experience treating articular cartilage injuries, meniscus injury and meniscus deficiency, ligament reconstruction, patellofemoral conditions, early arthritis of the knee, shoulder dislocations and separations, rotator cuff tears, shoulder arthritis, elbow injuries and hip impingement. She is an expert in minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques and shoulder replacements. Her clinical focus is in the treatment of ligament, cartilage, meniscus and patellofemoral injuries of the knee; rotator cuff and labrum injuries and arthritis of the shoulder; injuries and overuse conditions of the elbow and labrum injuries and impingement of the hip. As a physiatrist, Dr. Leung specializes in spine and nerve disorders. With a special interest in cancer management and rehabilitation, Dr. Leung provides the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technologies and continuity of care within the framework of Columbia University Iriving Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian. He is devoted to expert diagnosis and treatment for improved patient outcomes and is committed to delivering state-of-the-art neurological care with compassion and sensitivity to the needs of patients and their families.

Care Philosophy: My practice focus is on Interventional Physiatry which entails all nonoperative treatment of spine related pain. I recently joined Mount Sinai in 2013 after serving over 15 years as an attending physician and partner at the Spine Institute of Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC. Biography: Margaret Vaughan, MD, FACP is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine practicing at New York Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley. She graduated from Cornell University and then earned her doctorate in medicine at SUNY Health Science Center Medical School in Syracuse, New York. She served her internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Vincents Catholic Medical Center as well as anesthesia residency at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She completed her fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center in Manhattan. She has served as clinical preceptor for medical students for New York Medical College in Valhalla. She's a member of the American Medical Association and American College of Physicians. She serves on several committees for the Medical Society of the State of New York. For over two decades Dr. Vaughan has been practicing adult medicine as an Internist in the outpatient setting in suburban New York.
