I woke up one day to a knee the size of a melon, out of the blue. I could not imagine how I might have injured it. It became so swollen and painful that I could no longer bear weight. I went to Dr. Simon who ordered an MRI, knee aspiration and bloodwork. The bloodwork came back positive for Lyme disease. I do not think most orthopedists would have the prescience to order Lyme testing for a knee presentation. He put me on a month of Doxycycline and saved me from a late diagnosis which could have been much worse; as it was it took seven months to recover from the horror of Lyme but I am one of the lucky ones and I am forever grateful to Dr. Simon for diagnosing it and Dr. Richard Bloom for ultimately curing me. Dr. Simon's office staff was kind, caring and organized (I went to the Pomona office) and he was patient, kind and professional. Thank you Dr. Simon!

Dr Simon replaced my 73 yr old sisters hip and it was amazing. She was virtually pain free from day one and is walking without a walker for the first time in years. Truly a wonderful surgeon and a kind and caring man.

The wait time in the waiting room usually isn't too long. He has a friendly manner. He pulls up my x-rays on his monitor & explains what they mean. He discusses what different surgical options there are, depending on what he finds once the joint is exposed, and what the likely outcomes are for each. Office staff are friendly & helpful.

Dr. Simon successfully repaired my rotator cuff a few years ago and more recently he replaced my knee at Nyack Hospital. Not only is he a most competent surgeon, he is patient and kind. I had severe left shoulder pain and went to see Dr. Simon. I did not want to have surgery so we decided to try physical therapy as an option. The physical therapy helped but I still had pain and limited range of motion. After talking over my concerns we decided to proceed with shoulder replacement and I am so happy with the results. Dr . Jordan Simon did my right hip replacement surgery at Nyack Hospital in November 2017. Due to his excellent work, I am now feeling totally better after several years of pain and difficulty moving. Dr. Simon completely saved me, as I had anaphalactic shock during the surgery.
