Biography: Dr. Sarah Takimoto is a Colorado native. She attended the University of Southern California for her undergraduate degree and received her medical degree from Creighton University. She completed her OB/GYN residency at St. Joseph's Hospital, and joined Midtown OB/GYN in 2018. Dr. Takimoto's interests in OB/GYN include maternal safety and postpartum care, family planning, minimally invasive surgery, and teaching residents. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, cooking and discovering new restaurants. She is married with a young son and is bilingual in Spanish.

Care Philosophy: I believe the relationships I have with my patients are sacred; I am able to spend some of the best moments of their lives with them, and I am with them at some of the worst moments of their lives. No matter the circumstance, I take time to educate my patients and get to know them, their families, their values, and the various layers that affect their healthcare so I can provide support, resources and referrals as needed.

Biography: Dr. Townsend is a board-certified physician who completed her residency in OB/GYN at Inspira Medical Center in Southern New Jersey. During her medical training, she cared for a high-risk obstetric population and developed a passion for minimally invasive surgical techniques. Dr. Townsend prides herself on empowering women to take charge of their health throughout all stages of life. Though she was born and raised in Massachusetts, she received her medical degree from Rocky Vista University in Parker and is excited to be back in Colorado with her husband and daughters.
