Care Philosophy: Jayson Sack, MD, FAANS, is a board-certified neurological surgeon specializing in neurosurgery. Dr. Sack specializes in intracranial conditions and simple and complex spine conditions. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and a Diplomat of the American Board of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Sack sees patients 13 years and up. Dr. Sack provides exceptional, compassionate care for various brain and spine-related issues. In addition, he continues to explore new ways to limit morbidity, minimize risk, and improve outcomes through the latest technology and innovation. Care Philosophy: Dr Jaffer received his MD degree from the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine. He then went on to complete a Neurology Residency at the same institution, serving as the Academic Chief Resident of his program. Most recently, he completed a Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship, also at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine. Dr Jaffer's clinical interest is in onco-neurological complications, especially as relates to epilepsy syndromes, myopathies, and neuropathies. He is interested in multimodal clinical research that combines the use of patient parameters with EMG/EEG findings to predict neurologic outcomes and prognosis.
