Care Philosophy: Dr Martz will be accepting new patients in his Englewood office. His philosophy of patient care is to provide exceptional care for all urologic conditions while understanding non-urologic conditions may influence a treatment plan. He plans to work closely with primary care physicians and other specialists in order to deliver comprehensive medical care.

Biography: Dr. Matt Sorensen was born and raised in Melbourne, Florida. He attended The University of Florida and graduated with honors with a bachelor's degree in Biology. He obtained his medical degree from The University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his general surgery internship and urologic surgery training at The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. Dr. Sorensen has comprehensive training in advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques, including the use of advanced laparoscopic procedures and the da Vinci robot for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, prostate cancer, kidney cancer, and various other urologic conditions. Further training includes male and female urinary dysfunction, kidney stone disease, urinary incontinence, bladder cancer, and men's health.
