Dr. Pines was excellent.
Dr. Pines was excellent. Great bedside manner and I can tell he cares about his patients. Clearly skilled and experienced and has a knack for explaining the complex in simple terms. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Rudeness
Simply put..stay away. The doctor left the exam room in the middle of my sentence. He couldn’t articulate himself. He was vague plus being condescending. Dr Manoharan is amazing but far for us to drive. He’s at Baptist.

Great experience
I was very nervous for my appointment as I had been putting off going to the doctor for quite some time. Doctor Pines could tell I was nervous and took the extra time to put all of my fears at ease. He answered all of my questions and his staff was warm and friendly as well. He understood my medical issues quite well and helped set a plan of action that made me feel calm and ready for treatment. It was a 10/10 experience as far as physicians go and I couldn't recommend him enough!

Great Urologist Who Cares!
I have known Dr. Pines for many years. He is a not only a great physician, but he really does care about you. I would always prefer someone who cares as opposed to someone who treats you like "just another appointment during the day". His concern shows and that is what makes him a wonderful human being.

Disappointed Patient
Had an afternoon appointment with Dr. Pines at the Hallandale location today, 4/27/23. After checking in the Receptionist informs me a referral is needed & I have to contact my primary doctor to request a referral. My primary office closes at NOON today. Yesterday, 4/26/23, I called Dr. Pines' office to confirm my appointment for today & asked if my referral has been received. Was told by the young lady on the phone "ALL" was good. Requested to speak to the Office Manger today as this is NOT professional. Office Manager was NO help. NO customer service at all. Very disappointed in the manner I was treated. Will NOT be going to Dr. Pines' office again. Took the time to write this out so this will NOT happen to another patient.

Very poorly run office
This practice is very poorly run. They never answer their phone except with a message to call back at another time. I had to call to get someone to review my test results. Their billing was incorrect and I've been calling for weeks. It's very frustrating. I suggest you look elsewhere.

Seems to care about billing not your health
When you are in a doctor's care and leave 4 messages with the office that are not returned it's hard to give any stars. But I'm trying. Dr. Pines does not listen to his patients. He just talks and talks and talks. Almost seems annoyed when you ask questions; that is when he lets you get a word in edgewise. His PA, Carly, is actually easier to deal with and seemed to be looking for solutions. But again no response from the office after four attempts. Left two messages on their voice system. Left a message with a person. And even used the antiquated approach that only doctors seem to use - the fax. The receptionist in the Hallandale office is the last person that should be dealing with the public. You're just a transaction to her. No empathy. No sense of humor. No personality of any sort. If you don't want to be pissed, so to say, go elsewhere.

Part 4 Dr. Pines sent one of his staff members to call me and to let me know that it was better if I found another Urologist. Which I was going to do anyway. He did not have the courage nor the nerve to call me personally and try to find out what had happened. Which it is so unprofessional of him. But now that I read the previous review about his behavior, I understand that the way his staff is, that's how he is. I would not EVER recommend this person. I put one star because it would not let me post, but they do not deserve it.

Dr. Pines and his staff go out of their way to treat each patient with kindness and respect. As a physician, he is very thorough in his examination and picks up issues and symptoms that would be easily missed by a less qualified and diligent professional. I am astounded by the wide scope of his medical knowledge and understanding as he has diagnosed medical issues outside his specialty that were not picked up by others. He is definitely a great doctor and great person.

The worst experience I’ve had with a doctor. If I could give him negative stars I would. Two years ago I had kidney stones on Christmas and a kidney infection. Dr.pine was trying to put me through TWO surgery’s within a week apart (prob for the money). When I questioned him he started screaming at me in the hospital. At that point his hands were shaking he was so offended that I would question his education I didn’t feel comfortable having him opetate in me.He then told me “good luck on finding

Dr. Pines is one of the most kind and professional doctors I have come across in a very long while. He spent a lot of time explaining my particular situation with me. He answered all my questions and concerns. His staff made the appointment for me the next day and I must say they are all very friendly. I would most certainly refer him to my friends without doubt.

The doctor and his staff are very professional and efficient. His PA is excellent also and I would not change offices, even though the Pines office is a little small and hard to get to. It is worth it for the care and service.
