Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits. Andrew Pytiak is dedicated to helping young athletes return to, and stay on the playing field. He has fellowship training in both pediatric orthopaedics and sports medicine and is passionate about synthesizing these two disciplines to address the unique challenges presented by young, athletic patients. He honed his skills by providing sideline, training room and practice coverage for multiple Division I collegiate athletic teams at the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Denver. He has also served as the team physician for Colorado high school football teams. He serves as a resource for patients with fractures, cartilage damage, ligament tears, injured growth plates and torn tendons. Dr. Pytiak is an active researcher in pediatric orthopedics and has multiple publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals. A focus of his research is upper extremity injuries in the young throwing athlete. He has lectured and presented research around the world in locations including Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America. Motivated by a belief that all children have the right to live happy, healthy lives Dr. Pytiak has also participated in international medical mission trips to help provide basic medical care to medically underserved communities. Outside of medicine, Andrew enjoys the unique exhilaration provided be downhill mountain biking, motorcycling, surfing, and alpine skiing. Care Philosophy: As a Interventional Physiatrist, Dr. Christopher D?Ambrosia treats a wide range of problems including sore shoulders, spinal cord injuries, arthritis, tendonitis, back pain, as well as work- and sports-related injuries. His focus is on restoring function for his patients. Dr. D?Ambrosia has been in private practice in Colorado since 2005. He has provided his services for the NHL Colorado Avalanche, NBA Denver Nuggets and the Colorado Crush Arena Football Team.

Biography: Dr. Szuszczewicz is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in total joint replacement, orthopedic trauma/fracture care, and general orthopedics. His post-graduate training included both a surgical and a research fellowship in Adult Reconstruction/Hip & Knee Replacement. He also completed additional training in minimally invasive hip and knee replacement surgery as well as unicompartmental or partial knee replacement surgery.Dr. Szuszczewicz has published numerous papers based on his work at the Anderson Orthopedic Clinic, Tulane University and Harbor-UCLA. His work at Tulane University was recognized with the prestigious Charnley Award for research in hip replacement surgery, the highest award in hip replacement research worldwide. He was one of the first surgeons in the country to adopt the anterior minimally invasive technique for hip replacement surgery back in 2003 and has spent more than 14 years teaching the technique to other surgeons around the country. He is also actively involved in implant and instrumentation design/development to improve hip and knee replacement surgery.Dr. Szuszczewicz grew up in Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington D.C., and has lived in Colorado since 2002. He then attended medical school at Washington University in St. Louis, where he obtained his MD and stayed on for residency training in Adult Neurology and fellowship training in both Epilepsy and Neuro-Ophthalmology.Dr. Kung is board-certified in Neurology and Epilepsy and has a special interest in seizures, spells, headache, stroke, multiple sclerosis, double vision, optic neuritis, and pseudotumor cerebri. He also uses Botox to treat patients with chronic migraine, hemifacial spasm, and blepharospasm.Dr. Kung sees outpatients at Blue Sky Neurology's Rose Medical Center location, and also offers Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) video-EEG services for inpatients at Rose Medical Center. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and exploring all the wonderful outdoor activities that Denver has to offer.
