Dr. Ripp was my anesthesiologist for an Achilles tendon repair. Before surgery he kept complaining to the nurse that no one listens to him. He didn’t see to care about me, just his own victimization by the hospital. After getting a nerve block for surgery, I awoke to severe pain, and did not respond to pain medications. Finally, Ripps assistant or co anesthesiologist gave me another nerve block which resulted in immediate relief. I personally find Dr. Ripp a very poor doctor to have on staff at a major hospital.

Still practicing!
I was looking for a new provider and to my astonishment I found Dr. Ripp's name. I can't believe he is still practicing or able to practice. His bed side manner is so awful. My primary care doctor called him to verify my pain medicine and without looking at my chart he told her I was not prescribed the medication she then placed the misinformation in my medical file. I asked several times for him to correct this mistake he never did. He then dismissed me for no reason and had an office assistant do it over the phone right before my med refill, did not try to bridge me until I could find another provider. His PA offered to bridge me since he was in the wrong. I should have filed a medical board complaint. Do Not go here!

no communication and don't care for emergencies
Went to them for over 7 years for pain managment. Impossible to get a hold of, phone service doesn't always get messages through to the office and if you call more than once they just ignore you so you never know if you get to them. Messages are turned off once they close and even on weekends when they still have appointments. If you do end up with an emergency and are given meds for it, theyy'll drop your care entirely even if you can prove you tried to get a hold of them for it. Forcing me to have to srop my meds cold turkey even though they strongly advise against exactly that

I've seen Dr. Ripp since March 2018 as my pain management Doctor. I have absolutely zero complaints of his staff or of him! He and I always have pleasant conversations during my procedures. I have respect for him and understand he & his staff face many people that have Medical challenges and addiction to pain medications. Thus why I see so many negative statements here! I treat him with respect and comply with the rules & regulations set forth by the DEA & Insurance regulators. As for his office space, always clean & staff is always friendly to me. As per the phone calls, yeah only voice mails, but to defend them, would you want a bunch of drug seeking people calling you and screaming@ you all the time? I leave voice mail and get a response when needed. Be nice & polite to them the are nice and helpful to you! Smile and enjoy life

I am very sick. I have almost died three times. My appointments were scheduled for 0530am. He then stripts my meds almost to a deadly does. He also had one of the prescriptions he prescribe the pharmacy kept calling. I kept calling and emailed his office. He never called the pharmacy nor I. I went somewhere new and feel safe again. He is also rude. Stay clear!

Wost experience ever. He sucks, his staff sucks. He is the #1 for all surgerys for penrose and memorial. So whether you like him or not he is your anesthesiologist. Will be suffering for the rest of my life from his screwup.

His staff sucks and he doesn’t care that they suck. He is not a very nice person either! I don’t know why he does pain management. He doesn’t care and sadly his staff cares less about answering phones. They call and hang up just so they can SAY that they called. I hate them!

I have been going to this clinic for about 3 years now. It is the definition of a medical prison for someone with chronic pain. THEY WILL NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONES. Ever. I’ve had multiple times where I needed answers right away and it’s taken them weeks to contact me back! The medical assistants and staff are the worse kind of people, especially for a pain management facility! They even have you have you pee in a cup and make you carry it back to them. This place has the most abusive staff ever!

He lies. We spent over 500.00 in office visits,. Dr. Ripp did lidocaine first an it worked well. No pain for 28 hours. He new my husband took a lot of pain killers. Dr ripp did 4/5 times burning the nerve. Last appt he was to cut thru the nerve, he came dressed in old t-shirt, said to my husband get off drugs then I'll do it, turned around an walked out. Not right, very cruel. The ablation was to get him off drugs.

I have found this Dr poor bed side manners, I had him for a few years ago. His office never billed my husband's insurance then is still trying to hit us with the bill, never asked for our co-pay. We are still trying to get it cleared up. They never answer the phone either! I will never go back!

I had a second rotator cuff surgery after a physical therapist tore it again and Dr Ripp was amazing! My first anesthesiologist only gave me half of a block and I was miserable and in a lot of pain. 1 to 10 my pain experience was a 10! With Dr Ripp's surgery it was a 3! He actually gave me a complete block and I can't tell you what a huge difference it's made in my pain and recovery. Thank you Dr Ripp God bless you! Dr Ripp was the anesthesiologist on call so I can't answer the other questions

During the time there as a patient I never got to meet Dr Ripped. My husband and I only saw the PA Tracy Pollard-Johnson who suddenly left the practice with no notification to us. To top it off I had an appointment the following Monday after Tracy left and suddenly I'm not in the schedule nor do I have any future appointments showing and yet I have my appointment card contradicting that. Getting ahold of this office is a nightmare both for scheduling appointments and requesting refills. GRADE F-
