Biography: Zachary Simmons, MD earned his Medical Degree from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Simmons has an intermediate fluency in Spanish. He joined Miami County Surgeons in 2013.

Biography: Heather Adkins, MD, FACS graduated from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, OH. She completed her general surgery residency at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Adkins is Fellow of American College of Surgeons. She is board certified in general surgery.

Care Philosophy: "My philosophy of care revolves around building patient trust, making sure my patients understand why they should turn to me for something as big of an investment as their life and their surgery for whatever disease they might have. Once we establish that trust then we move forward, educating patients about disease processes both on planned and emergent surgeries."

Biography: Dr. Rong Yang, MD is a General Surgery Specialist who practices in Danville, IN. He is 63 years old and has been practicing for 41 years. Dr. Rong Yang, MD is affiliated with Hendricks Regional Health and Hendricks Regional Health.

Biography: Patrick A. Larreategui, DO, FACOS is a board certified, general surgeon who received his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, East Lansing, MI. He completed his general surgery residency at Botsford General Hospital, Farmington Hills, MI. He joined Miami County Surgeons in 2003. Dr. Larreategui has been a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons since 2006. He is active on several committees at Upper Valley Medical Center and has served in several positions; 2nd Vice President of Medical Staff (2016), Chair of Credentialing Committee (2015), Surgery Department Chair 2013-2015.
