Biography: Dr. Elizabeth Mobley knew, from a very young age, that she wanted to be a surgeon and worked diligently towards that goal. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Georgia Honors Program, completing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Honors Interdisciplinary Studies. From there, she completed her Doctor of Medicine at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Mobley pursued her urology training at the University of Utah, where she was appointed as the Chief Urology Resident during her final year. Following her residency, she completed fellowship training in general urology with a focus on female pelvic floor reconstruction and urologic oncology at North Shore Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand. While Elizabeth Mobley enjoys working with both male and female patients, she has a strong interest in male urology, including the management of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH or enlarged prostate) through the use of minimally invasive therapies such as UroLift. Dr. Mobley's interests also include male and female urinary incontinence, vasectomies, low testosterone in males and females, voiding dysfunction, pelvic floor prolapse (cystocele, uterine or vaginal fault prolapse with enterocele, and rectocele), kidney stone disease, renal masses and bladder masses. She is trained in open, laparoscopic and robotic techniques. Dr. Mobley has been published in peer-reviewed journals and has spoken at many meetings and educational activities. The focus of her research and publications has broadly regarded topics related to outcomes following surgical correction of Peyronie's disease, penile length following inflatable penile prosthetic surgery, and antimicrobial use during urologic prosthetic surgery. Biography: Telehealth visits are available.Dr. Travis Holloway earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from The University of Texas at Austin prior to moving to San Antonio for his medical school and General Surgery residency training. During this time he also completed a two-year research position funded by an NIH grant and received a Masters Degree in Clinical Investigation. Dr. Holloway joined General Surgical Associates in 2016. He is an active member of the Texas Medical Association, the Bexar County Medical Society, and the J. Bradley Aust Surgical Society. During his chief resident year, he was awarded the Raleigh Ross Scholarship through the Texas Surgical Society and has been a resident/fellow member of the American College of Surgeons since 2009. Dr. Holloway has also published multiple research articles in peer reviewed journals and was also an editor for an online textbook on breast cancer.Dr. Holloway is accepting patient appointments at our Medical Center location and operates in multiple hospital systems in San Antonio.

Biography: Telehealth visits are available.Dr. Abbate was born and raised in Massachusetts. He attended medical school at the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree, he returned to Boston for his surgical training at Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). Dr. Abbate was a distinguished resident and was selected to serve as Chief of the Surgical Teaching Service after completion of his surgical training. While at MGH, under the mentoring of pioneering pancreatic surgeon, Dr. Andrew Warshaw, Dr. Abbate gained expertise in pancreatic, biliary and complex gastrointestinal surgery.In 2002, Dr. Abbate moved to San Antonio to serve in the United States Air Force. Dr. Abbate's military career included a tour as a combat surgeon in Iraq. He received an honorable discharge in 2006.In 2006, Dr. Abbate began surgical practice in San Antonio. In 2010, he merged his practice with the START Center for Cancer Care. His practice encompasses surgical oncology and general surgery with special interest in breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, gastric cancer, gastroesophageal reflux and gallbladder disease. Dr. Abbate is trained on the DaVinci Robotic Surgical System and a high-volume provider of robotic surgery.Dr. Abbate is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgery.
