Biography: A distinguished surgeon, Dr. Kump has spent his career serving both his patients and his country. This Colonel and US Army Reservist was an active duty US Army Physician at the McDonald Army Hospital in Fort Eustis, VA. As an Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Army Reserves, he was initially commissioned to the Signal Corps and after completing medical school transferred to Medical Corps. In his military career, he was deployed to Germany (Task Force Able Sentry, 1996), Kosovo (Operation Enduring Freedom, 2004-2005), and Iraq (two deployments to support Operation Iraqi Freedom, 2008 and 2011).
