My visit with Dr. Patel was exceptional, as always. The staff is professional, patient, kind and caring. I never feel rushed and always feel welcome. I have been seeing Dr. Patel since 2014 and will continue to do so. He performed surgery on my shoulder, both knees and never felt pressure to do so. My quality of life is 100% because of his care. If you're looking for orthopedic care, Dr. Patel will be your last stop for good. I travel close to an hour for my visit and will travel further if need be. Very happy patient :)

Dr. Patel recently operated on my shoulder and fixed my problem. I had pain in my shoulder caused by a bonespur, arthritis and loose cartilage which was confirmed by an open MRI. Dr. Patel explained the options (PT, shots, surgery, etc), I chose surgery at the Prince Frederick Surgical Center. He and his staff at the orthopedic office and the Surgery Center were so efficient and thorough from pre, during and post surgery. This whole process was almost easier than getting a dental filling! I was in and out in under 2 hours. I opted for a nerve block which helps with post surgical pain and quicker recovery. I went out to breakfast after surgery and was able to do laundry later that day! While shoulder surgery does take a few months to heal, the pain was quite minimal and I was able to do my own exercises to recover. My thanks to Dr. Patel, the Anesthesiologist, and the excellent staff of nurses, NPs, and admin personnel. Highly recommend Dr. Patel and the Surgery Center in PF.

I have been seeing Dr. Patel for over 15 years. He has always been very patient with me in explaining my knee problems. I have some osteoarthritis in both knees and he is treating them with jelly injections to help with movement. He explains everything that can be done and is willing to listen to me when I have issues. Apparently he specializes in knee surgery/replacement. I don't feel rushed when I see him for an appointment.

Dr. Patel is wonderful. He replaced both my knees very successfully. I can walk now with no pain. He’s very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with as is his staff. I highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Patel for over a decade. I find Dr. Patel to have great interpersonal skills which allowed me to be more open with Him. It is very hard to find Dr.'s that you trust when it comes to your health. Of course He is so good at His job that sometime the care I receive for very bad knees keeps me away from Him for 9-12 months. I appreciate Him and His friendly staff.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Patel’s for 10 years. He’s extremely knowledgeable, and explains everything in very clear terms. I will eventually need a knee replacement, but right now Dr Patel is keeping me almost pain free with PT and injections as needed. He always makes me feel very comforted after a visit with him. He’s very caring and kind.

I had a torn rotator cuff that was supposed to be operated on in March 2020. That date was cancelled due to the Covid. I had another cortosone shot and had the surgery on 7 Dec 2020. I've had 2 total hip replacements, after that, a bersuctomy with an IT band release, have been a kidney donor and about 10 other surgeries. This was by far, one of the easiest. Dr. Patel was very personable, answered my questions and I had exceptional result (to my great surprise). My 4 month mark is coming up soon and by following his directions post surgery and attending PT as required, it was one of the easiest surgeries I've had. i HIGHLY recommend him and thank my physical therapy specialists (OPT in Dunkirk) for recommending him! Would see him again in a heartbeat if needed. I Thank you and your staff, Dr. Patel! I will see you again if ever needed!

I’ve been seeing Dr Patel for a number of years and have been very satisfied. He performed a successful shoulder surgery a number of years ago and most recently treated for tennis elbow. He listens and answers questions willingly which is a great quality to have. I would definitely recommend.

He didn’t dismiss me and he listen to my concerns even the unspoken one.
