Biography: Kelly Hendricks, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with Kansas City Joint Replacement and Sports Medicine in Overland Park, KS. He is affiliated with Menorah Medical Center and HCA Midwest Health. Dr. Hendricks has been recognized annually as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2014, and is considered to be one of the area's preeminent experts in adult orthopedic reconstruction, specifically in knee and hip replacements. He is a leader in adopting the latest total knee replacement technology a smart knee implant for patients who qualify, as he seeks to improve patient outcomes through enhanced precision and accuracy. Biography: Dr. Nathan Kiewiet, MD is an Orthopedic Surgery Specialist who practices in Lenexa, KS. He is 46 years old and has been practicing for 24 years. Dr. Nathan Kiewiet, MD is affiliated with Centerpoint Medical Center.

Biography: Dr. Kneeman is an interventional pain physician who completed residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Washington in Seattle. He then moved to Chicago to complete an interventional pain fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago, during which he learned state-of-the-art techniques to help manage complex musculoskeletal and spinal conditions. His clinical interests include musculoskeletal and nerve-related pain disorders, including interventional treatments for neuropathic pain, complex regional pain syndrome, spinal stenosis, vertebral compression fractures, and persistent pain after surgery. His goal is to offer opiate-sparing alternatives to help improve both pain and function. Originally from Tucson, AZ, Dr. Kneeman has enjoyed establishing roots in his new hometown of Kansas City. He enjoys spending time with family, playing soccer, reading, and listening to music in his spare time.

Biography: Dr. Cowan is a Kansas City native who returns to join DFP as a Sports Medicine fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. He received his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University, his medical and master's degrees from the University of Kansas, and completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Kansas in Kansas City, KS.As part of his fellowship at the TRIA Orthopaedic Center in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, Dr. Cowan provided medical care for NHL's Minnesota Wild, MLB's Minnesota Twins, Gustavus-Adolphus college football, and area high schools. His interests are in athletic injuries to people of all ages including ACL reconstruction, multi-ligamentous knee injuries, rotator cuff repairs, and many more procedures for the knee, shoulder, and elbow.When not taking care of patients, Dr. Cowan enjoys spending time with his wife, three children, and extended family. He also enjoys fitness, travel, and cooking.
