Biography: Eric Fester, MD graduated from the United State Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. He attended medical school at The Uniformed Services University of Health Services in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Fester completed his internship at David Grant Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base, CA and his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Wilford Hall Medical Center at Lackland Air Force Base, TX. He completed an Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Cincinnati, OH. Dr. Fester is a diplomate and fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine. Dr. Fester offers the newest cartilage restoration technique available, matrix-induced autologous chondrocyte implantation (MACI) cartilage transplant. MACI transplant, a two-step procedure using the patient's own cartilage, is most effective for active patients, from their teens to 50s.

Biography: Michael G. Raab, MD received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame (1985), and his medical degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago (1989). He completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Springfield, in 1994, and received the Outstanding Surgical Resident Teaching award. Dr. Raab then served as an orthopedic surgeon at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Ft. Gordon, GA, providing a wide range of general orthopedic surgery services, including trauma and fracture care;sports injuries;total joint replacement; shoulder, hand and elbow surgery; and hip, knee, and ankle surgery. He was also a member of the teaching faculty for the Army orthopedic residency training program. Following four years of active duty, Dr. Raab practiced in Georgia and Ohio, and joined Premier Orthopedics in 2011.
